OVERSEERS OF THE POOR
Since 1893, the Town of Andover has been most fortunate in having as Superintendent and Matron at the Town farm, Mr. and Mrs. George L. Burnham, and during this long period, they have not only performed their duties in a manner most satis- factory to the town, but have endeared themselves to the inmates, by their ever kind and painstaking treatment of those entrusted to their care. Especially is this true of our Matron, Mrs. Burn- ham and whoever succeeds to her place will find she has left a standard hard to equal, and we know we voice the sentiment of the whole town when we wish them God Speed in their new home in North Andover where they intend to go the first of April next.
