REPORT OF THE TOWN CLERK

January 20, 1958

Honorable Board of Selectmen Weymouth, Massachusetts

Attention: Joseph Crehan, Chairman

Gentlemen:

Submitted herewith is the Annual Report of the Town Clerk for the year ending December 31, 1957.

This year the town received a check from the Norfolk County Treasurer in the amount of $5,368.73, as a refund from dog licenses issued during the year. This is an increase of $1,192.84 over 1956. The increase in this sum can be credited in a large measure to the efforts of the staff in the Town Clerk's office, the co-operation of Mr. John H. Reidy, Dog Officer of Wey- mouth and Mr. Ainslee Payne, the County Dog Officer. The sum of $5,368.73 will again be used for school purposes as provided by state statute.

I should like to extend my thanks to your Board and all departments for the courtesies and cooperation given to me during the year.

Respectfully submitted, HARRY CHRISTENSEN Town Clerk
