At the annual town meeting in the town. of Bobford, Mass held on March 5th, 1928, the following by-las was accepted and adopted subject to the approval of your office as directed by Chap. 40. Section 32 of the General Laws.
By-Law
Whoever being the owner or keeper of a hound shall permit it to run without chain or least at any time between one half hour after sun and one half hour before Sunrise on property not owned occupied by owner on keeper shall be punished by a fine of ten dollars.

Law proposed by Initiative petition.
Shall the proposed law which provides that it shall be lawful in any city, which accepts the act by vote of its city council and in any town which accepts the act by vote of its habitants, to take part in or witness any athletic outdoor sport or game except horse racing, automobile racing boxing or hunting with firearms, on the Lord's day between 2 and 6 P. M. That such sports or games shall take place on such play grounds, parks or other places as may be designated in a license issued by certain licensing authorities; That no sport on game shall be permitted in a place other than a public play ground or park within one thousand feet of any regular place of worship : that the changing of admission fees or the taking of collections of the receiving of remuneration by any person in charge of or participating in am such sport or game shall not be prohibited ; that the license may be revoked; and that in cities and towns in which amateur sports or games are permitted under existing law such amateur sports or games may be held until the proposed law is accepted or the provisions of the existing law fail of acceptance on resubmission to the people, which law was disapproved in the Senate by a vote of 9 in the affirmative and 22 in the negative, and in the House of Representatives by a vote of 93 in the affirmative and 110 in the negative. be approved

1928. Record of Precinct two Town of Boxford, National and State Election, November sixth 1928.
In accordance with the requirements of the warrant issued by the Selectmen dated October 27th 1928 the inhabitants of Precinct Two Town of Bolford qualified to vote in elections and town affairs met in Lincoln Hall on Tuesday November sixth nineteen hundred and twenty eight.
The warrant calling the meeting was read by The Precinct Clerk. The ballet box after being examiner by the Precinct Officers and the public was found to be empty. It was immediately locked, and the key taken and held by Avard P. Lyon the Constable in attendance; the register indicating 000.
At seven a clock the presiding officer called upon those persons qualified to vote in elections and towns affairs to give in their ballots for the purposes expressed" in the warrant. At Three vilock in the afternoon the polls were closed. the register indicating 130
The officers in charge of the check lists then pro- ceeded to count the names checked on said lists and found the whole number to be One hundred and thirty one 131
The ballot box was then opened and the ballets taken therefrom and andilly counted one by one in the presence of the officers present and the public and the whole number was found to be one hundred and thirty one 131
The Precinct Officers then proceeded to count the votes received by each person and for other purpose. expressed in the warrant with the following resul Whole number of votes for President and Vice President of the United States, One hundred thirty on. 131
