To see if the Town will vote to amend Section 3, Para- graph 4, of the Zoning By-Laws to rezone from general residence to limited business a tract of land at the intersections of Patten Road, Foster Road, and Shawsheen Streets extending 300 feet East and West from the intersection and 300 feet on both sides of Shawsheen Street; extending 300 feet from the intersection on Foster Road and 300 feet each side of Foster Road; and ex- tend 300 feet from the intersection along Patten Road and 300 feet each side of Patten Road, as shown on a plan filed with the Town Clerk. ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION
Tewksbury, Massachusetts, February 24, 1954
At a meeting of the inhabitants of the Town of Tewksbury, qualified to vote in town affairs, held this day at the Town Hall and the Shawsheen School, the following business was transacted.
Warrant was duly read by presiding officers in Precincts 1 and 2. Registers in ballot boxes showed 0000 and check lists were in order. Polls were. officially opened at 10 o'clock A. M. and closed at 8 P. M. There were 1,160 votes cast in Precinct 1 and 483 in Precinct 2, a total of 1,643 votes.
Election officers were as follows: Precinct 1-Harry A. Tread- well, Warden; Malcolm D. Buchanan, Deputy Warden; Rose J. Greeting:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Tewksbury, qualified to vote in Town affairs, to meet and assemble at Town Hall in said Tewksbury on Monday the 14th day of June, 1954 at 8 o'clock P. M. to act on the following articles:
Meeting called to order at 8 P. M. when quorum was found lacking. At 8:10 o'clock 173 voters had been checked in and the meeting proceeded.
ART. 1. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the E & D Account or raise and appropriate the sum of $15,000 for what- ever repairs, equipment and other expenditures are necessary to re-open the Foster School on a temporary basis as unanimously recommended by the 1954 School Building Committee until such time as it can be replaced by new construction - said sum to be transferred to and to supplement the regular School Budget and to be expended by the School Committee for that purpose - or take any other action relative thereto.

ART. 2. Perkins & Sons, Inc. C. E. & Sur., Reading, Mass. and which is bounded as follows: Northerly by Shawsheen St., 742.66 ft .;
