Stockholder and director in Pillsbury- Washburn Co., whose mills have a ca- pacity of 30,000 barrels daily. Origina- tor, promoter and for many years presi- dent of the Minneapolis & St. Louis R. R .; projector and builder of the Minne- apolis, St. Paul & Sault Ste. Marie R. R., of which he was president until 1889.
