To either of the Constables in the Town of Norwood, in said County :
Greeting :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massa- chusetts, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Nor- wood, qualified to vote in elections and town affairs, to assemble in Everett Hall, in said Town, on Monday, the 18th day of January, A. D. 1915 at fifteen minutes before six o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to act on the following articles, namely :
Article 1. To choose all necessary town officers. The following are to be chosen by ballot, namely, two Selectmen for three years; two Selectmen for two years; one Selectman for one year, who shall be Overseers of the Poor

and Surveyors of Highways; one Town Treas- urer and Collector of Taxes for one year; one Finance Commissioner for three years; one Finance Commissioner for two years; and one Finance Commissioner for one year; all in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 197 of the Acts of the Legislature for the year 1914; one Moderator for one year; six Constables for one year; one member of the Board of Health for three years; one mem- ber of the Board of Health for one year to fill the vacancy existing in said office; two mem- bers of the School Committee for three years; two trustees of the Morrill Memorial Library for three years; and also upon the same ballot to vote upon the following question:
"Shall licenses be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in the Town?"
Article 2. To hear and act on reports of town officers and committees.
Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Collector of Taxes to use the same means as a Town Treasurer may use when acting as collector.
Article 4. To see what disposition the Town will make of money received as excise tax from street railway companies.
Article 5. To see what disposition the Town will make of money received for dog licenses.
Article 6. To see if the Town will vote to fix the time within which taxes assessed therein

for the year 1915 shall be paid and that on all taxes remaining unpaid after such time or a certain time, interest shall be paid at a specified rate not exceeding six per cent. a year and such interest be added to and be a part of such taxes.
Article 7. To see what sum or sums of money the Town will raise and appropriate for the current fiscal year, for the following pur- poses, or take any other action in the matter.

Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to maintain an evening school as provided by law and raise and appropriate money for such pur- pose or take any other action in the matter.

Article 9. To see what sum the Town will vote to raise or borrow and appropriate to pay the land damages and the cost to the Town of the construction of the New Highway, laid out by the County Commissioners under their de- cree of December 31st, 1912, extending from Washington Street in Westwood to Washing- ton Street in Norwood and principally along the Westerly side of the location of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad Com- pany, or take any other action in the matter.
Article 10. To see what action the Town will take to restore the permanent sidewalk on Nahatan Street adjoining the St. Catherine Church property, and raise or appropriate money for said purpose, or take any other action in the matter.
Article 11. To see if the Town will vote to accept Chapter 423 of the Acts of the Legisla- ture for the year 1909, being an act relative to the sale of ice cream, confectionery, soda water and fruit on the Lord's Day as amended by Chapter 451 of the Acts of the year 1913.
And the polls shall be opened at six o'clock in the forenoon and shall be kept open until thirty minutes past four o'clock in the after- noon when they may be closed.
And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting attested copies in ten public places in this Town, seven days at least before the day of said meeting. Hereof fail not, and make due return of this warrant with your doings there-

on to the Selectmen on or before the time and day of said meeting.
