REPORT OF THE OVERSEERS OF THE POOR

The Almshouse

The cost of maintaining the Almshouse was more than in other years. On the other hand, the returns from sale of produce, labor of town team and board was larger than any previous year, which shows that the Almshouse is under able and capable management in Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan.

ANNUAL REPORT

OF THE

Water Commissioners

OF . THE

TOWN OF RANDOLPH

1916

TOWN OF RANDOLPH

REPORT OF THE WATER COMMISSIONERS

To the citizens of Randolph:

The thirty-first annual report of the Water Commissioners is respectfully submitted for the year ending December 31, 1916.

During the past year we have had the stand pipes in Ran- dolph and Holbrook scraped and painted on the inside and found the same in good condition.

We have had the coal shed repaired and strengthened. We have had the inside of the pumping station cleaned and painted, the same being necessitated on account of the in- stalling of our new pumping engine.

We have also had needed repairs made on the cottage at the station in use by the engineer. The plant is now in good condition with the exception of a few minor repairs on the inside of the cottage which should be made this summer.

You have no doubt become acquainted with the fact that the Norfolk County Commissioners have, by purchase, se- cured a portion of the property known as the Ferguson Farm, as a site for a county institution, a hospital for tuberculosis.
