Article 3. To hear and act on the report of the Town officers.
Article 4. To raise and appropriate such sums of money as may be necessary for the support of schools, including Stetson High School, and also for the conveyance of pupils.
Article 5. To raise and appropriate money to defray the general Town expenses for the current year.
Article 6. To see what action the Town will take in relation to repairs on the Turner Free Library Building and raise and appropriate money for the same.
Article 7. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate money for the District Nurse Fund.
Article 8. To see what sum of money the Town will raise and appropriate for lighting the streets by electricity.
Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to light the streets all night and raise and appropriate money therefor.
Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to pay the insur- ance on the Town Treasurer's bond for the year 1919-1920 and raise and appropriate money therefor.

Article 16. To see if the Town will vote to repair Centre street between Union street and Main street, and raise and appropriate money therefor as petitioned for by Ernest E. Simmons and others.
Article 17. To see if the Town will vote to accept Augusta street and the continuation of said street known as Rockefeller street.
Article 18. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate money to build Augusta street and the continuation therof known as Rockefeller street.
Article 19. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Water Commissioners to extend the water main in and upon Augusta street, a distance of 1,450 feet, and raise and appropriate money therefor.
Article 20. To see if the Town will vote to place an electric light at the junction of North Main and Orchard streets as petitioned for by Eugene Thayer and others and raise and appro- priate money therefor.
Article 21. To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year be- ginning January 1, 1919, and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable within one year, any debt or debts incurred under this vote to be paid from the revenue of said municipal year.
Article 22. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen, to renew or refund any notes issued in anticipation of revenue for a period of less than one year in accordance with the provisions of section 9 of chapter 719 of the acts of 1913 or to take any action relative thereto.
Article 23. To see if the Town will instruct the Water Commissioners to extend the water main on Grove street from the

corner of Cross street, a distance of eight hundred feet, and raise and appropriate money for the same.
Article 24. To see if the Town will appropriate money to install four electric lights between South street and Main street on Centre street as petitioned for by Ernest E. Simmons and others.
Article 25. To see if the Town will vote to. raise and appropriate money to celebrate the return of soldiers and sailors, now or late in the service of the United States, in accordance with chapter four of the generals acts of 1919.
Article 26. To see if the Town will vote to accept the provisions of section 339 of chapter II of the revised laws and acts in amendment thereof relative to the election of Select- men for terms of three years.
Article 27. To see if the Town will appoint the Selectmen to be the agents and attorneys of the Town to prosecute, defend and compromise any and all suits in which the Town may be in any manner interested as a party or otherwise, except so far as the same relates in any manner to the water supply, and to employ counsel if necessary.

To see if the Town will authorize and appoint the Water Commissioners to be the agents and attorneys of the Town to prosecute, defend, compromise and settle any and all suits and proceedings in which the Town may be interested as a party or otherwise, so far as the same in any manner relates to the taking and use of the water of Great Pond or in the construc- tion of the water works either jointly or separately as authorized under chapter 217 of the acts of 1885 and to employ counsel if necessary.
Article 29. To see if the Town will make an appropriation for the decoration of soldiers' graves under the direction of Capt. Horace Niles Post IIO, G. A. R.

Article 30. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate money to contribute to the Sinking Fund as required by law to meet the payment of the Randolph Water Loan when due.
Article 31. To see what action the Town will take relative to medical attendance on the poor and raise and appropriate money for the same.
Article 32. To see what action the Town will take relative to repairs on highways and raise and appropriate money for the same.
Article 33. To see if the Town will instruct the Selectmen to appoint a special police officer or officers to enforce the laws and raise and appropriate money for the same.
Article 34. To see what action the Town will take relative to the pay of town laborers.
Article 35. To raise and appropriate money for the sup- pression of the gipsy and brown tail moth as recommended by the state forester.
Article 36. To see if the Town will authorize the Tax Collector to charge interest at the rate of six per cent. per annum on all taxes unpaid on and after October 1, 1919.
Article 37. To see if the Town will authorize the Tax Collector to use the same means which a Town Treasurer may use when acting as Tax Collector.
Article 38. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate money for the clock in the spire of the First Congregational Church.
Article 39. To see what action the Town will take relative to the abatement of taxes and raise and appropriate money therefor.
Article 40. To see what action the Town will take relative to repairs on North Main street under the direction of the Massachusetts Highway Commission and the Norfolk County Commissioners and raise and appropriate money for the same.

Article 41. To hear and act on the report of any committee and choose any committee the Town may think proper.
And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting attested copies thereof at five or more public places in said Town seven days at least before the day and hour for holding the meeting.
Hereof fail not and make return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk on or before the day and hour appointed for said meeting.

Annual Town Meeting
Randolph, March 3rd, 1919.
Pursuant to a warrant issued by the Selectmen dated Feb. 19th, 1919, duly served by John P. Hanley, Constable, the voters of said Randolph assembled at Stetson Hall, Monday, March 3rd, 1919.
Meeting called to order by the Moderator, James E. Foley, the warrant and return was read by the Town Clerk, Herman W. French, at 5.45 o'clock, the polls were declared open for the reecption of ballots and action taken as follows :
Article I. To choose all such Town officers as are required by law to be chosen by ballot, namely, a Moderator for one year, a Town Clerk for one year, a Town Treasurer for one year, three Selectmen and Overseers of the Poor for one year, one Assessor for three years, one member of the School Committee for three years, one Trustee of Stetson School Fund for three years, a Collector of Taxes for one year, one Water Commissioner for three years, three Auditors for one year, a Tree Warden for one year, one Highway Surveyor for one year, three Fence Viewers for one year, seven Constables for one year. Also on the same ballot to vote "yes" or "no" in answer to the question "shall license for the sale of intoxicating liquor be granted in this 'l'own".
Voted that we proceed to ballot for all such town officers as towns are required by law to choose by ballot at their Annual Town Meeting, namely : A Moderator for one year, a Town Clerk for one year, a Town Treasurer for one year, three Selectmen and Overseers of the Poor for one year, one Assessor for three years, one member of the School Committee for three years, one Trustee of the Stetson School Fund for three years, a Collector of Taxes for one year, one Water Commissioner for three years, three Auditors for one year, one Tree Warden for

That the polls be kept open until 2 o'clock, p. m., that Articles 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41 be referred to the committee appointed at the adjourned town meeting in 1918, consisting of Winthrop B. Atherton, James Fardy, Joseph Mullins, J. Joseph Hurley, Edwin Mann, Henry Powderly, to report at an adjournment of this meeting to be held Tuesday evening, March 18th, 1919, at 7.30 p. m. The following named persons acted as tellers: Charles O. Bosworth, Arthur L. Scott, Cornelius O'Keefe, Frederic L. Schulz, William R. Rudderham, Augustus L. Bagley, Bennie F. Hayden, Francis J. Heney, Franklin W. Hayden, Clarence L. Hager, John N. Shipman, David Pope, James H. Dunphy, George H. Wheeler, F. Burt Jaquith ; ballot box, Patrick Brady ; ballot clerks, Robert H. Article 21. To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning January Ist, 1919, and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable within one year, any debt or debts incurred under this vote to be paid from revenue of said financial year.
Voted unanimousley, that the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen be and hereby' is authorized to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning January Ist, 1919, and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable within one year, any debt or debts incurred under this vote to be paid from the revenue of the said financial year.
Article 22. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen to renew or refund any note or notes issued in anticipation of revenue for a period of less than one year, in accordance with the provisions of Section 9 of Chapter 719 of the Acts of 1913, or to take any action relative thereto.
Voted unanimously: That the Treasurer be and hereby is authorized with the approval of the Selectmen, to refund notes issued in anticipation of revenue of 1919 in accordance with the provisions of Section 9 of Chapter 719 of the Acts of 1913, the period between the date of issue of the original loan and the date of the maturity of the refunding loan to be not more than one year, any debt or debts incurred under authority of this vote to be paid from the revenue of the financial year 1919.
Article 27. To see if the Town will appoint the Selectmen to be the agents and attorneys of the Town to prosecute, defend

and compromise any and all suits in which the Town may be in any manner interested as a party or otherwise, except so far as the same relates in any manner to the water supply, and to employ counsel if necessary.
Voted that they be so appointed.
Article 28. Randolph, March 8th, 1919.
The Registrars of Voters of Randolph held a meeting this evening in the Selectmen's office to recount the votes cast at the Annual Town Meeting for James P. Duffy and Richard F. Forrest for Selectman and Overseer of the Poor.
The counting began at 8.00 o'clock by Registrars Condon. Howard and Hand, in the presence of the said Duffy and Forrest and their counsel, with the following result :
