t " Old Families" is incorrect, on p. 149, and also on p. 381, misled by D. Hm. The wills of Joseph3 Swett, 1720, and Moses' Swett, 1729, show that both had a married dau. Esther, the former Esther Eaton and the latter Esther Hoag; and that Joseph3 had a son Joseph+ Swett, who was doubtless the Joseph numbered VII by Dow. Moreover, it was Elizabeth+ (Moses), wife of NathIl Hall, and not Esthert (Moses) Hoag who was dead April 15, 1729 [not 1719], as given by Dow.
