TOWN WARRANT.
PLYMOUTH, SS.
To either of the Constables of the Town of Duxbury in said County.
GREETING :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Duxbury, qual- ified to vote in elections, and in town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall, in said Duxbury, on Monday, the eighth day of March next, at seven o'clock in the forenoon then and there to act on the following articles, viz :--
Article 1. To choose a Moderator to preside in said meeting.
Article 2. To bring in their votes for one Selectman for the term of three years, one Assessor for the term of three years, one Overseer of the Poor for the term of three years, for Town Clerk for one year, for Town Treasurer for one year, for Collector of Taxes for one year, for Tree Warden for one year, for one per- son for Board of Health for the term of three years, for one School Committee for the term of three years, for one Surveyor of Highways for one year, for one Cemetery Trustee for the term of five years, for three Constables for one year, for two Auditors for one year, all on one ballot. Also on same ballot, Will the Town grant licenses for the sale of intoxicating liquors for the ensuing year, the vote to be "yes" or "no" in answer to the ques-

tion, Shall licenses be granted for the sale of intoxicating liq- uors in this Town ? Polls will be open at 7.15 a. m., and may be closed at 11.15 a. m.
Article 3. What action will the Town take relative to the ap- pointment of necessary officers not chosen by ballot.
Article 4. To hear the reports of the several Town officers and committees, and act thereon.
Article 5. Will the Town appropriate one hundred and twenty-five dollars to be expended under the direction of William Wadsworth Post No. 165, G. A. R., for the observance of Me- morial Day ?
Article 6. To raise and appropriate such sums of money as may be necessary to defray Town charges for the ensuing year.
Article 7. Shall an act passed by the general court in the year nineteen hundred and eight, entitled an act to provide for the protection of forest or sprout lands from fire be accepted by this town ? The vote to be by separate ballot "yes" or "no" in answer to the question.
Article 8. Will the Town raise and appropriate a sum of money to continue the work relative to an assessors' map of the town ?
Article 9. Will the Town provide markers for lots in the cemetery cared for by private funds ?
Article 10. Will the Town authorize its Treasurer to bor- row money in anticipation of taxes ?
Article 11. Will the town make any provision for shelter for horses on the grounds of the library and town offices ?
Article 12. Will the Town reconsider the vote passed April 2d, 1883, providing for a discount on taxes ?
