JOSEPH T. CUMMINGS, 1893.

CHARLES M. WADE, 1894.

Thomas T. Burt resigned Aug. 1, 1892, and Mr. Joseph T. Cummings was appointed to fill the vacancy by the Road Com- missioners and Board of Selectmen in joint session, Aug. 17, 1892.

The sum of ($1,200.00) was appropriated by the Town for the repairs of roads and bridges aside from Berkley and Dighton bridge, and was divided as follows. The first section (No, 1 and 2 was allowed $383.50, the second section (No. 3, 4 and 5,) was allowed $383.50, and the third section (No. 6 and 7,) was al- lowed 433.00.

Your Commissioners met with the Road Commissioners of Dighton April 1, 1892 and engaged James T. Standish of Digh- ton, to care for the bridge for one year, for the sum of $225. The cost of repairs on the bridge have been light and this ex- pense was caused by defective iron work. The wood work of the Draw will want repairs before long.

The guide boards in town are in fair repair and nearly every corner in town is provided with a board.
