At a Special Town Meeting and Election held in the Town Hall Boxford, Mass. on Saturday, April 3, 1926 the following record was made.


In the absence of the Moderator, Chester Killam; John W. Parkhurst was chosen Moderator Pro tem. sworn by George B. Parkhurst, Election Clerk.


Later the Moderator, Chester Killar arrived und appointed John G. Chandler as Teller, to assist Walter W. French and Raymond & Gillis to count and assort the Ballots, hewas sworn by the Town Clerk.

Primary Election September 14, 1926. Pursuant to the foregoing warrant the inhabitants of Precinct two Town of Boxford, qualified to vote in Primaries met in Lincoln Hall in West Boxford Tuesday, September 14, 1926. Warrant read by Clerk Edward E. Pearl. Ballot box opened by Constable Frank H. Shofford in the presence of the public and found to be empty and registered zero. Box immediately locked and key retained by said constable.


Polls declared open by Harry L. Cole officer in attendance at seven minutes past seven A. M.


At 2:40 o'clock in the afternoon the polls were closed the ballot box registered The officers in charge of the check lists announced the number of names checked to be 74
