State Primary September 25th, 1917. In accordance with the requirements of the foregoing warrant, the inhabitants of Precinct 2, Town of Boxford, qualified to vote in elections, and town affaire met in Lincoln Hall at 10 o'clock A.M. Sept. 25th 1917. The Warrant calling the meeting was read by the clerk. The ballot box- after being examined by the Precinct officers and the public was found to beempty, and was im- mediately locked and the key taken and retained. by Avard P. Lyon, the Constable in attendance, The register indicating 000. At 10 o'clock the


presiding officer called upon the persons quali- fied by law, to give in their ballots for the purposes expressed in the warrant.


At two o'clock the polls were closed the register indicating 17 ( seventeen)


The officers in charge of the check lists then counted the names checked on said lists and found the whole number to be 17 (seventeen)


The ballot box was opened and the ballots taken there from and andilly counted one by one in the presence of the precinct officers and the public and the whole number was found to be 17 (Seventeen) The precinct officers then proceeded to count the votes received by each person with following result,

State Election Fürverber 6th 1917. In accordance with the requirements of the foregoing Navrant the innavitients Precinct two toure & Boxford quai- ified to vote in elections and town affairs met in Lincoln Vall on Tuesday November 6 th 1917.


The Warrant calling the meeting was read by the Precinct Clerk. The ballot bor after being examined in the Precinct officers - and the Public was found to be empty and was immediately locked and the key taken and retained by the Contable in attendance, the register indicating 500, at. (They valued the wood and timber on the Faron at $16000, and the land and Buildings at $10000, They recommended selling the farm for offering $25000, and selling it for not less than 20000, and That $150, beused to advertise it if necessary) (In 1849 the Town bought this form of Jacob Towne for 2500 .; 100 acres more or less. see deed in vault.) $
