The Town Accountant, shall receive two hundred dollars a year. The Town Treasurer, shall receive one hundred dollars a year.


The Collector of Taxes, shall receive three fourthe of one percent for collecting the taxes for 1927.


The Highway Surveyors, and the men whom they employ to work on the roads, shall receive fortz cents an hour. "The pay for a horse working on the roads, shall be twenty five cents an hour.


The pay for a man and team working on the roads, shall be seven dollars and twenty cents, for a day of eight hours.


For a joke of oyen, two dollars a day of nine hours. For a plow and ox shovel, fire cents an hour each. And while pathing snow, the men and teams shall receive the same as the men and teams employed on the roads, except the men shoveling snow. who shall receive fifty cents an hour.


That all other bills, shall be allowed by the Selectmen

that the Report of the Committee on naming the streets, as read, be accepted and adopted, as follows :-


Report of The Committee Appointed to Propose Names for the Highways of the East Parish.


To the Citizens of the Town of Boxford


We herewith submit for your consideration the following names which it has seemed to us are most fitting for the highways described.


The method used in naming has been to name all Major Highways with the name of the Town to which it leads, Minor Highways have been given names desired by the majority of the property owners on these roads.


Four Corners at Town Hall passing Library to corner at Mr. A. C. Water', to be known as Elm Street.


Elm Street at Mr. Little's, passing house of Mr. George Gould, Mr. Dorman, to Topsfield Line to be known as. Topsfield Road.

Treatment: Book dismantled and binding materials removed. Paper mended with Japanese tissue or Crompton heat set tissue. Paper deacidified using magnesium oxide. Book resewn and bound in Hewit vegetable tanned goatskin and acid-free materials.
