BURLINGAME
I would like to know if anyone can | Identify a Clark Burlingame, born July 28, 1787, died Nov. 1, 1857 whose wife was one Julia Stetson. In all probability he is ja descendant of Roger Burlingame of New England (1620-1718). Clark is undoubtedly a near relative of the Burlingame clan of Chenango county (Silas, Daniel, Joel and Abner Burlingame,) as he came from that region. Clark Bur- lingame is buried at Oriskany Falls, N. Y. and among his children were Hiram, William, Adelia and Sally.

CHAPEL, FINCH
I would like information about these Chapel and Finch families of Chenango county, N. Y. John Chapel born 1756, probably at Montville, Conn., or nearby, served in the Am- erican Revolution but has no pension record. His wife's name was Elpha, (surname unknown) and they had twelve children but I can locate no birth records. He moved with his family in 1810 from Montville, Conn. to Pharsalia, Chenango Co. N. BELSHAW
1. I would like further data of Thomas Belshaw born 1736 (Linburn Co. Antrim, Ireland ?) died Oct. 16, 1827. His wife Eliza born 1741 died 1808. Believe they were settlers of Herkimer county in late 1700. They had 3 sons:
1. John born 1767 who died Jan. 8, 1812, married Mary Barker of Lebanon, Ct.
2. David 1777 died 1868 who mar- ried 1 Lydia Isham 1782-3-26-1831, married 2 Betsy 1791-5,4,1872.
3. Thomas II born 1784, died 12-2- 1863, married Bethia Barker of Leb- anon, Conn., sister of Mary wife of John Belshaw.
Family letters back and forth from Lebanon to Warren show that the Barker sisters' widowed mother, Priscilla (Hyde) Barker and her sis- ter Elizabeth (Hyde) Egerton were residents of Warren. During winter of 1804-5 Bethia and Thomas Bel- shaw were married at Warren. Oth- er Hydes and Barkers were evi- dently also there.
BROWN, THOMAS
2. Also the family of Alanson Brown, wife Jane Thomas, their daughter Betsy Jane born 1818, Ger- man Flats, Herkimer county, mar- ried Lester Belshaw born Warran, son of Thomas II above. The Browns moved to Homer, Cortland county, and Belshaw letters are from Mo- hawk.

BEAUCHAMP
William Beauchamp, born in Eng- Jand in 1745, came to America about 1765 and eventually settled in Mary -. land where his son Levi was born in 1814. Levi moved to Indiana, per- haps to Wayne county, In 1814, mar- ried Sarah Jessup that year, and In 1837 moved to Parke county, Ind., where he died in 1871. These Beau- champs were Quakers. As yet there is nothing to furnish even the small- est clue as to their place of resi- dence in Maryland. Is there, per- chance, a Maryland Quaker Associa- tlon, or some general collection of early Quaker records of the State?
William Beauchamp should have been in the Revolution but is not mentioned with Maryland troops, and is not found in the 1790 census of Maryland, He died in 1830. This fam- ily of Beauchamps seem in no way connected with the Beauchamps of Somerset County, Maryland. Mrs. Hazel Lloyd,

TEMPLE
In 1744 Deborah Temple and John Hadley, both of Concord, Mass. were married in Concord, according to vi- tal records of Concord. Who was the father of Deborah ? All indications are that she was the daughter of Benjamin Temple, (Abraham, Rich- ard, Abraham,) "of Concord" ac- cording to the administration of his brother John's estate, but no proof has thus far been found. Abraham Temple, father of Benjamin, mar- ried Deborah Hadlock. Deborah Temple Hadley had sons Abraham and Benjamin. The children of Ben- jamin Temple are not found in Con- cord Vital Records. No Temple gen- ealogy as yet examined mentions Deborah. She would probably have been born about 1819 or 1820. Mrs. Hazel Lloyd, Lobby Cotton Exchange Bldg., Oklahoma City, Okla.

This nearness of the Ireland Family to changing boundary lines at Oyster Bay, Rye, Newburgh, Al- bany (Saratoga) Co., Stillwater (Malta) Town, Jericho (Bainbridge) Town (there less than a mile from the towns of Coventry, Oxford and Guilford) and elsewhere have added greatly to the difficulties of uncov- ering important and dependable re- colds needed to patch together the mosaic of history of them and their kin. This query is for the missing parts. Tradition says that the James and Lydia (Ingersoll) Ireland Bible record burned in a fire. Lydia is re- ported to have said that a son (8) and daughter (1) of hes, Stephen, 1809-69 and Mary (Polly) Ireland Nichols, 1799-1866, were named after their grandparents. This came es- pecially from the Bargaret Ireland Miles 1804-73 (wife of Alfred Miles, 1807-73), branch of Bainbridge and Otselic, N.
