Testimonials Concerning "Dr. Horne's Electro-Magnetic Belt."

The following are a few of the Many Thousands of Testimonials received :-

Denver Testimonial.

DENVER, Colorado, January 21, 1883.

To whom it may concern :- I take great pleasure in stating I have worn Dr. Horne's famous Electric Belt about sixty days, and it has cured me of chronic constipation of years standing; also bleeding p.les, rheumatism, and general debility. I have recommended them to many friends, who purchased them, and have received wonderful benefits. I honestly cannot say too much in regard to their merits, and will reply to all letters on the subject. Respectfully yours, D. C. ROBBINS.

With Cornforth & Co., fruit dealers, 272 and 274 Holliday Street. Indianapolis Testimonials.

INDIANAPOLIS, Jannary 26, 1883. To whom it may concern :- 1 have been wearing Dr. W. J. Horne's Electric Belt for four weeks; am delighted with its effects. J. D. CONDIT.

INDIANAPOLIS, January 8, 1883.

Dear Sir-I have tried Dr. Horne's Electric Belt for Paralysis of six years' standing, and found that it has been a great relief. Yours truly, Rev. J. P. COWAN.

Pastor United Presbyterian Church.

Omaha Testimonial.

DR. W. J. HORNE: Dear Sir-My wife has been seriously afflicted with piles for the past ten years, and I have tried several doctors and inay different remedies without receiving any relief, until I got one of your Electric Belts on the 10th of March, 1883, and she has had no pain or trouble from the piles since. I would not take $1,000 and be without your belt. I cannot praise it too highly. Respectfully yours, JOHN C. CHRISTENSEN,

Nineteenth and Harney streets, Omaha, Neb.

She Suffered Terribly.

DEER TRAIL, Arapahoe County, Colorado, March 9, 1SS3. DR. W. J. HORNE: Dear Sir-I am happy to state to you that my daughter, Miss Tilda, is entirely well and able to do her work as usual, and your Flectric Belt did it. She was suffering terribly for weeks, and nothing secmed to relieve her until she commenced wearing the belt. Yours truly, WM. FUNCHEON. P. S .- For the sake of suffering humanity you are at liberty to use the above statement. Wx. F.

In the above case the young lady suffered with such severe pains in the back that sometimes for a week she could not leave her bed. She used the belt less than two months.

A Physician Cured. OMAHA, Neb., April 12, 1883.

DR. W. J. HORNE: Dear Sir-I purchased one of your Electric Beits in Denver, Colorado, December, 1582. It relieved the pain across my kidneys, and strengthened them so that they gave no more trouble. The spinal irritation it relieved immediately which nothing could have done. Your agent here has sold them to parties for piles, sexual weakness, neuralgia, paraly- sis, and female weakness, with whom I am acquainted, and the results in each case more than meet expectations. I can refer any one to these parties who desire it. Respectfully,

1613 Capital Avenue, Omaha. DR. M. N. PORTER

From a Denver Merchant.

DENVER, Colorado, August 29, 1882.

DR. W. J. HORNE: Dear Sir-Having suffered for several years from lumbago and kidney diseases, without obtaining relief from medicine, I can sincerely state that your Electric Belt has given me immediate relief, and I can recommend it to others afflicted likewise. Yours respectfully, THOMAS HEWSTON.

Explanatory from Leadville.

LEADVILLE, Colorado, October 1, 1882.

DR. W. J. HORNE: Dear Sir-I take pleasure in saying that during the past year I have sold hundreds of your famous Electric Belts for rheuma ism, neuralgia, kidney disease, torpid liver, impotency, dyspepsia, nevousness, general debility, and many other diseases, and I can honestly say that no medical treatment in the world gives such satisfaction and performs so many cures as your scientific Electric Belts have done. Yours fraternally, DR. W. B. COOKE.

PREFACE.

THIS, the third issue of our COUNTY DIRECTORY, is now before the public, and it is the intention of the publishers to issue a number occasionally, trusting the new features introduced in this issue will sufficiently recommend and justify the continuation of its publication.

The object of this work has not only been to give the names and addresses of business and professional residents, but also to include every bona fide resident land owner, with number of acres to which title has been acquired.

In thus diverging from the beaten paths of Directories and encompassing a new and original plan, we have possibly made errors, which, in future issues, will, we anticipate, be remedied.

The arrangement of the work, we trust, will prove satisfactory to our pat- rons, the names being arranged in alphabetical order under, their respective post- office addresses; also, a brief descriptive sketch of each place.

We return thanks to our patrons for their favors, and it is hoped that the result of our labors will prove satisfactory to all. .
