on the Northern Railroad, sev- enty miles north of Sacramento. Population, 400. It is the most centrally located town of Co- lusa County. Its infancy dates from the completion of the rail- road two years ago. What we consider a good investment for a little loose cash is the town lots of Maxwell, or land in the vicinity, which is of the richest in the county.
