DR. MERRIMAN'S "FRAGRANT KALLIODONT'' FOR THE TEETH.

THE GREATEST PRESERVER AND BEAUTIFIER OF THE AGE.

Delightful, Fragrant Dentifrice, by the use of which the Teeth and Gums are preserved, and health and beauty greatly enhanced. After thirty-five years' dental practice, Dr. A. F. Merriman offers this valuable dentifrice as the result of his long experience, believing all who give it a trial will appreciate its worth. Guaranteed free from acid and all injurious matter. The highest Diploma was awarded this preparation at the last Industrial Exhibition in San Francisco. There is nothing that adds so much to personal loveliness and beauty as a set of pearly white teeth, and pure, sweet breath. By using Dr. Merriman's Fragrant Kalliodont Liquid, with Kalliodont Paste, or Powder, the teeth and gums are kept in perfect order and a fragrant breath assured. Although prepared as a toilet wash, the liquid possesses remarkable healing properties for inflamed gumsand sore mouth. The large sale of this dentrifice in so short a period after introduction is accounted for by the fact, that after once used it leaves such a pleasurable sense of cleanliness to the mouth, and beauty to the teeth and gums, that it is considered almost indispensable. Smokers, and all who use tobacco in any form, will find Liquid Kalliodont a pleasant remedy for the breath. Put up in toilet cases containing a bottle of Liquid and Powder, 75c. case; Liquid Kalliodont, separate, 50c. bottle; Kalliodont Paste, 50c. For sale by all druggists. Take no other.

KALLIODONT MANUFACTURING COMPANY, OAKLAND, CAL.

HINTS ON THE CARE OF THE TEETH.

Ist. Cleanliness is of absolute importance, and its neglect cannot be atoned for by dental skill. 2d. Thoroughly cleanse the teeth each night and morning with Liquid Kalliodont, -ten or fifteen drops on a moist brush being sufficient, -and at least two or three times a week, with Kalliodont Paste or Powder, giving the brush an upward motion on the lower, and a downward motion on the upper teeth,-and no portion of any tooth should escape its action, -thus pre- venting the accumulation of tartar, so destructive to the teeth and gums.

3d. The passage of silk floss between the teeth is essential to the cleansing of their approx- imal surfaces.

4th. A rightly-trimmed quill toothpick is useful, especially after eating.

5th. Children's teeth require daily cleansing by some competent person, from the time they commence to take solid food, with Fragrant Kalliodont.

6th. For tartar or other special condition, consult your dentist.

NOTE .- The accompanying view of the Big Trees of California is fully described in "Beauties of California," which contains a large number of beautifully Colored Plates, made from photographs and sketches from Nature, of the Big Trees, Yosemite Valley, Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake, Geysers, Cliff House and Seal Rock, San Francisco in 134) and 1333, with a complete description of these places of interest, how to reach theqi, etc.

Sold by all News Dealers. Published by H. S. CROCKER & CO., San Francisco, Cal. Price 55 cents.
