In pursuance with the foregoing warrant the inhabitants of the Town qualified to vote in Primaries met in the State Armory on Nahatan Street, Tuesday, the twenty-eighth day of April 1964, at 8:00 o'clock in the morning. The meeting was called to order by Chairman of the Selectmen, Thomas K. McManus, and the return of the officer thereon, who had served the same upon the inhabitants. In conformity with the laws of the Commonwealth in relation to elections, the Armory was fitted up as a polling place, a space railed off and compartments provided for the use and convenience of the voters to examine and mark their ballots. Each compartment was supplied with suitable facilities for the purpose and with cards of instruction. The following were appointed by the Selectmen as Election Officers and were sworn to the faithful performance of their duties by the Chairman of the Selectmen, Thomas K. McManus.

Sealed packages of ballots for the different parties were supplied by the Secretary of the Commonwealth and were delivered to the ballot clerks by the Town Clerk and Accountant. The polls were declared open for the reception of the ballots at 8:00 o'clock in the morning. The polls were kept open until 8:00 o'clock in the afternoon, when after due notice, were declared closed.

Pursuant to the provisions of the By-Laws of the Town of Norwood, notice is hereby given that at the Adjourned Annual Town Meeting of the inhabitants of the Town of Norwood held on April 27, 1964, it was voted that the meeting stand adjourned to meet at 7:30 o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, April 30, 1964 in the Senior High School Auditorium.
