"Change by-laws by taking all the areas shown on the Norwood Zon- ing Map as THA and THB with the exception of the Trunk Highway District, Division B, lying between Nahatan Street on the north and the stream on the south which is abont eight hundred feet north of the inter- section of Dean Street and Route 1, and the Trunk Highway District, Division B, lying between Westwood-Norwood Town Line on the north and the stream on the south which is about seven hundred feet south of the intersection of Everett Street and Route 1, and transfer them to Limited Manufacturing: - Where a portion of a Limited Manufacturing District abutting Route 1 is bounded on the rear by a Residence District and has a depth of less than 500 fect ( Measured between the line of Route 1 and the boundary in question), the minimum rear yard required by this Section, and the minimum buffer strip and planting area required by Section 9, map be reduced by 12 foot for each foot by which said depth at that point is less than 500 feet; provided, however, that no rear yard shall be re- duced to less than 50 feet.

Hintsa Associates, Engineers," dated March 28, 1955, being numbered 1787P, Sheet 1, and recorded with Land Registration Office in Book 294, Page 36.
Also a second parcel including lots 168A, 169 and 170 as shown on a plan entitled "Subdivision Section 1B of land in Norwood, for Norwood Properties, Inc., Oiva E. Hintsa Associates, dated July, 1957, recorded with Norfolk Deeds as No. 1199, 1957, Plan Book 204, and to raise and ap- propriate a certain sum of money for this purpose.
VOTED: To so authorize the Selectmen and further voted that the sum of $21,000.00 be raised by transfer from available funds and appro- priated for this purpose.

To see if the Town will vote to abandon all rights and interest in an easement in a parcel of land formerly acquired for highway purposes and being shown as Lot 4, area 80.90 square feet on a plan of land entitled "Plan of Land in Norwood, Mass .. owned by United States of America," dated May 9, 1963, by Hayward, Hayward & Boynton, a copy of which is on filed with the Town Clerk.
This parcel being a portion of land taken for highway purposes by order to taking recorded with Norfolk Deeds in Book 1938, page 291, to- gether with plan recorded therewith, or take any other action in the matter.

VOTED: That the Board of Selectmen be and herby are authorized and directed to accept on behalf of the Town a grant of the above described land.
ARTICLE 17. To see if the Town will vote to designate as a public park, all the Town owned land lying within the loop formed by the inner line of Westover Parkway, and he it further voted that the sum of $4,000.00 be raised and appropriated for improving the area.
