fied to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet at the High School Auditorium, in said Medfield on Monday the 23rd day of March A.D. 1953 at 7:30 P.M. then and there to act on the following articles:
Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to officially name the new Elementary School, presently known as the Adams

Street School, the "World War II Memorial School" or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate or transfer from Available Funds, a sum of money for the purpose of procuring a permanent bronze honor roll to be installed in said school, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to accept as a gift the sum of $403.48 held in trust by the Selectmen toward the purchase of said permanent bronze honor roll, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to hold fitting and proper dedicatory services on Memorial Day, Saturday, May 30, 1953, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zon- ing By-Law of April 5, 1938, by striking out Section 7, Para- graph 5, and inserting therein the following:
Lot size. No dwelling shall be erected in an "A" residence district on a lot containing less than twenty thousand square feet or less than one hundred and twenty feet wide, nor in a "B" residence district on a lot containing less than twelve thousand square feet or less than one hundred feet wide, or industrial district on a lot containing less than seventy-five hundred square feet or less than sixty feet wide, provided that one dwelling may be erected on any lot which, at the time this By-Law is adopted is separately owned.
Article 6. To see if the Town will vote to re-establish "Establishment of Districts" under section 1, Paragraph 1 of the Zoning By-Law of April 5, 1938, by striking out said sec- tion and substituting the following section:
SECTION 1. ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICTS
1. Classes of Districts. The Town of Medfield is hereby divided as shown on the Zoning Map dated April 5, 1938, and more recently amended by Zoning Map dated January 30, 1953, filed with the Town Clerk, into 5 classes of districts:
"AA" Residence Districts "A" Residence Districts
"B" Residence Districts Business Districts Industrial Districts
and, to see if the Town will vote to amend Section 1, Paragraph 2, of the Zoning By-Law of April 5, 1938, by adding:

To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate $200.00 and authorize the Selectmen to purchase about four acres of land adjoining the Town Dump and bounded westerly and northerly by land now or formerly of Angel C. Belmont et al, easterly by land of grantor, southerly and westerly by land of the Town of Medfield and being the west- erly portion of land conveyed to Frederick Bowers et ux as recorded in the Norfolk Registry of Deeds, Book 3093, Page 307, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate $300.00 and authorize the Selectmen to purchase the land adjoining the Town Dump shown as parcel 845 on the Assessors plans and being the same parcel of land as conveyed to Angel C. Belmont et al by deed recorded March 29, 1922 in Norfolk Registry of Deeds, Book 1512, Page 89, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to accept the fol- lowing named sums as Perpetual Trust Funds for the care of lots in the Vine Lake Cemetery, the interest thereof or as may be necessary to be used for said care, viz:

Pursuant to the foregoing warrant the meeting was called to order by the Moderator at 7:30 P.M. and the following action was taken on the articles therein:
Article 1. Voted that the new Elementary School on Adams Street be officially named and hereafter known as the "MEMORIAL SCHOOL".
Article 2. Voted to transfer from available funds in the Treasury the sum of $596.52 for the purpose of procuring a permanent bronze honor roll to be installed in the new "Memorial School".
Article 3. Voted to accept as a gift the sum of $403.48 held in trust by the Selectmen, said amount, together with the sum appropriated in Article 2 shall be used to cover the total cost of procuring and installing a permanent bronze honor roll in said "Memorial School".

Ehnes for land damages in the matter of the relocation of North Street, in settlement of suit for damages brought against the County of Norfolk by the Superior Court petition No. 48987, together with the further sum of $50.00 incurred as expense of said suit, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate, borrow or transfer from available funds in the treasury, the sum of $227.90 to be paid to the Highland Sand & Gravel Co., Inc. for unpaid bills incurred in the year 1952, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate, borrow or transfer from available funds in the treasury, a sum of money to defray the costs of widening Main Street between Spring Street and the northeastern boun- dary of Baxter Park, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to discontinue the street light on Boston Edison pole No. 12/44 which is located at the corner of Spring Street and Main Street, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Selectmen to petition the Boston Edison Company to install one (1) street light on N.E. Tel. & Tel. Company pole No. 44 on Main Street, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 6. To see if the Town will vote to transfer a sum of money from the Road Machinery Fund to the Highway Operating Account to defrav the expenses of the operation and maintenance of Highway Machinery.
Article 7. To see if the Town will adopt the following By-Law in accordance with Chapter 41, Section 81R of the General Laws (Ter. Ed.) and amendments thereto:
The Board of Selectmen shall annually in March appoint a Board of Appeals for Sub-division Con- trol, which shall consist of three (3) members and an associate member.
Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to raise and an- propriate, borrow or transfer from available funds in the treasury, a sum of money to defray the costs of personal

injury and property damage insurance to cover Town owned motor vehicles, or do or act anything in relation thereto.

Voted to rezone that part of Hospital Road and Harding Street along both sides of both public ways from the Medfield State Hospital property line southeasterly to a point on Harding Street, a short distance southerly of the intersection of Hospital Road and Harding Street from a "Business District" to an "A" "Residence District" so that the entire "Business District" along Harding Street and Hospital

Road as shown on the Zoning Map of the Town of Medfield as officially accepted on May 18, 1938, and as revised April 30, 1951, shall be placed in the "A Residence District."
