We the Subscribers a Comtee as appears by a vote of the Town of Wenham which is hereto annexed Report that the whole of Sd Causey be Raised With Stone & Gravel one foot high above the surface of the meadow from the South shore To the Island in sª Causey & from said Island To Topsfield Shore ye whole of sd Causey To be Raised nine Inches with the Same Sort of Stuff & in the Same manner aforesaid & that there be five Water Causes Cleared & Built in the Places where they used to be & that about Twenty three Pole to the South ward of sd Island the Said Causey be made so wide that Two Teams may Pass by Each other also that the sd Causey be Repaired by the three Separate wards of said Town of Wenham in three lotts (viz) the middle ward To be- gin at the South Shore & Extend about Twenty three Pole to the middle of A water Course & To make one half of sª Water Course with the next ward & also the half of the Extraordinary Charge on the way where the Teams are to meet. the West ward To Begin at the middle of sª water Course & Extend To the middle of the above said Island & the East ward To begin at the middle of sª Island & Extend To A Stake that is Theophilus Fisks Bounds Which he hath Engaged To Repair Sª way Unto Which Stake is about five Pole from the Gate at Tops- field Shore all which is Submitted by

At A meeting of the Selectmen June 24 1756 then Agreed with Sam11 Goodridge To Keep school four months To Teach the Children & youth of this Town In Reading Writing & Arithmetick for Such Reasonable Satisfaction Agreeable To his Service therein
