Voted To Purchase a Peice of Land of Theophilus Fisk To Repair Wenham Casway, & That Mess's Deacon Tar- box Ens" John Friend & Sam" Quarles be a Committee To Purchase Sª Land & make Report to the Town at the next meeting Then the moderator Declar'd The meeting Dissolved & Accordingly it was Dissolved.

Att a Town meeting held by ajournment August 2nd 1774 Mr Benja Fairfield moderator, it was Voted To Ajourn Sª meeting to the Second Tuesday in Octobr next To 3 o Clock in P. M and Sª meeting was accordingly Ajourned by Benja Fairfield moderator. - -


At a Town meeting of the Inhabitants of The Town of Wenham duely warned and regularly Assembled on the 27th day of September Anno Domini 1774


For Electing a Representative and other Business as pr Warrant may Appear M' Benja Fairfield was Elected by a majority, To Serve for & Represent The Town of Wen- ham in The Great and General Court To be holden at Salem on Wednesday the 5th day of Octobr next and dur- ing Their session and Sessions - as also To Join The other members in forming a Provincial Congress if need be.


Voted 2nly To Raise The Sum of one hundred and Twenty Pounds To Defray The necessary charges of the Town for the Ensuing year .-
