DETROIT JUNCTION.
Locally known as Grand Trunk Junction, s suburb of Detroit, at a . point just west of the city, whence six different railroad lines radiate, 5 of the 6 running into Detroit from thence over the M. C. R. R. track. The various roads are the Canada Southern, the L. S. & M. S. R'y, the M. C. R. R., the D. 1 .. & N. R R, the Bay City Division of the M. C. R. R. and the Grand Trunk railway of Canada. The number of trains passing and repassing this point daily is enormous, and as all stop here, this is one of the busiest ta road centers in the west. The cheapness fland hereabouts is fast luring manufact- arers from the city. Considerable property M.s lately been platted and sold, and the function is destined ere long to become a pulous and busy quarter of Detroit. A pentoffice has been established under the enle of Detroit Junction. Ferdinand Amos "«>>:master.
