M. the moderator decreat the polls closed for voting, and town buisness was suspended until after the ballats were counted. The ballat clerks proceeded to count their check lists. The ballot bof was unlocked and opened and the moderator proceeded to take out the ballots one by one and count them inopen town meeting, and it was found that the whole number ( 150) ballots cast was one hundred and eighty nine, of which male one hundred and fifty. The voters of Brimfield assembled at the Town Watto Thursday Sept. 30 the 916 in response to the foregoing warrant. The meeting was called to order by the Town Clerk Miner H. Garbin who read the warrant calling the meeting. CA. 8. o'clock PM. the meeting i opened and Robert Sherman and Fired . Y. Lawrence were ap poi Inted tellers and sworn. At ballot was then takenfor Moderator with the following result . Whole number of ballots cast 20. of which Robert J.Streeter received 16. ballots, and declared elected and accepted the office, and was, sworn, To take up article eight, and Mr Wheeler Sujet of Schools was invited to make some statements in regard to it, and he gave a concise and statistical statement of the needs of it, and after considerable discussion on the question. The meeting was called to order, and opened by Orrin Hicks presiding Election officer at 10. o'clock (. M. who read the warrant calling the meeting. The following ballot clerks and Tellers.
