Special Town Meting held april 26th 1913. The voters of Brinfield assembled at the Town Hall on Saturday april 26th 1913 in response to the foregoing warrant. The meeting was called to order by the town clerk miner N. Carbin, who read the warrant calling the meeting . The meeting was opened at 2. o clock and four minutes P. M. Orus E. Parker and Charles S. Tarbell were appointed as tellers to assist in checking, assorting, and counting the inilats cast for moderator and were sworn by the clerk. a ballot was then taken for moderator with the following result. whole number of ballots cast tiventy seven (27) and Robert 1. Streeter received liventy Leven (27) and was in animanly elected, and accepted the office. Vater To take up article Sixth.


moved by George F. Kennedy, that the Jawn elect a Board of Trustees consisting of three members, one of whom shall be a member of Wie school Committee. one a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hitchcock Free Ucademy, and one additional citizen with authority to organize and maintain a Vocational Agricultural School. The subject of the nation was explained by Mr. Kenney und her. Stringson of the Mass, Agricultural College, and discussed by F. a. Wheeler Supt. of Schools and others. after which it was. Vater to accept and adopt the motion.


Vated in motion of George F. Kennedy that the Town appropriate the surnal two thousand dollars (2000) for the establishment and maintenance of a Vocational agricultural School in Brünnfield to be expended by the Trustees elected by the town subject to the provisions of Chapter 47% of arts of 191.

Oliver that the School Committee be authorized to examine the unused School houses as to what shall be done with their, and make an estimate as to the cost of keeping the same in repair and make a report at the next annual town meeting.

annual Mate Election held November 1,th 1913 The vaters of Brimfield assembled at the Town Hall an Tuesday Nov. 4th in response to the fore going warrant The meeting was called to order and opened by Orrin Nicks presiding Election oficer, at 10, o'clock alm. and the warrant read calling the meeting. The Town Clerk then delivered to the presiding officer the Discman ballots and cards of instru- - ction and a package of Official ballots said to contain (250) two hundred and fifty billets and took his receipt for them The specimen ballots and cards of instruction were then posted as required by law. Merritt S. Denham. John. Shanly, George N. adams, and William Leach. who had premares. les fbi app 's ted by the Selectionen ballot Clerks and tellers were severly sworn by the town clerk. Geo. E. Hitchcock was appointed Police Officer and sworn. The seals to the packages containing the ballots were then broken open and the ballots delivered to the ballot clerks by the presiding officer. The ballet box was then opened for inspection and declared to be empty, and then locked and the key delivered to George & Hitchcock Police Officer this ballet box register standing at 000. all being done in open meeting. at 10, o clock and eight minutes the polls we're declared open for the reception of ballots by the presiding officer. Vated on mation of john Shanty that the time of closing the poll be extended until (3) Three o'clock P. m! at 3, a clock P.M. the presiding officer there being no objections, declared the polis closed.
