In Board of Selectinen for the Town of Brinfield Massachusetts, Ordered: Notice having been given and a public hearing held as provided by law. that the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company of Massachusetts be and it is hereby granted a location for and permission to erect and maintain poles and wires to be placed thereon, together with suck sustaining os protecting fixtures as said company may deen necessary , in the public way or ways hereinafter referred to as requested in petition of said Company dated the 12th day of June 1912. all construction under this order shall be in accordance with the following leon- - ditions; Poles shall be of sound timber and reasonably straight, and shall be set substantially at the points indicated upon the plan marked & of 6/7/12-Proposed pole locations of N.G. F & J. Go to be filled with this order. There may be attached to said poles not to exceed twenty wires and one cable , and all of said Mires and cable shall be placed at a height of not less than 16 feet from the ground. The voters of Brimfield assembled at the Town Hall on Monday July 2nd in response to the foregoing warrant, which was called on petition of certain citizens dissatisfied with the vote taken at a meeting held July 12 th 1912, The meeting was called to order by the Town blesk who read the warrant calling the meeting . Article first was taken up. Arrin Hicks and HunC. Davenport were appointed tellers to assist in receiving checking the names and assorting and counting the ballots cast for moderator and were each severally swarm by the Town Clerk . The polls being opened at 1. 20 P. M. and a ballot was Taken for moderator. with the following result: What man bes ot baut cast ninety five (95) Geo. M. Hitchcock received forty one(41) and Robert J. Streeter received fifty four (54) and was declared elected and accepted the office.
