annual State Election held Tuesday, November 7,the 1911. The waters of Brinfield assembled at the Town Hall on Tuesday November 7th 1911. in response to the foregoing warrant. The meting was afined and Called to order by Orrin Hicks Presiding Election officer at ten o'clock and one minute. O.M. and the warrant calling the meeting was read . the Town Clerk then delivered to the presiding officer the specimen ballots, and cards of instruction and the first set of official ballots, said to contain two hundred and fifty (250) ballots, and took his receipt for them, and the specimen ballats and cards of instruction were then posted as provided by law . William F . Bissell . Charles . S . Tarbell Merritt & Dunham and John Shanly having been previously appointed by the Selectionen as ballot charles and tillers were severally sworn by the Town Llerk. George W. S herman having been appointed Police Officer . was sworn by the Town blesk. The seals to the packages containing the first set of 250. ballots were broken apen and the ballats delivered to the ballot clerks by the presiding officer. The ballat box was then opened for inspection , and declared to be empty. and then locked, and the key delivered to Geo. W Sherman police officer . The ballot box register was declared to stand at "0" At ten o'clock and thirty minutes A.M. the polls for the reception of ballots were declared open.


Vated to extend the time of closing one half hour. to three o'clock 5.m. at three o clock. P. M. the polls were declared closed by the presiding officer. a count by the ballot clerk showed that one hundred and one (101) ballots had been delivered to vaters a count of the names checked on the vating list used for checking the names of vaters showed that one hundred and one (101) ballots had been cast. The ballot boy was then opened and the ballats deposited in the ballat box were then removed one at a time and counted by the presiding officer and the count showed that one hundred and one ballots had been deposited therem and that 101 male persons had vated and no females. The ballots were then counted and canvassed by Minut I. Dunham and John Thanly, supervised by Charles .S. Tarbell and William H Bissell and the result of the count was declared by the Town Check in open meeting as follows. vijf- Whole number of ballots cost one hundred and one. (101) which was and were for the following persons.
