-19/7- Special Town Meeting held May 5th, 1917. The waters of Brimfield assembled at the Town Hall on Saturday May 5th 1917 in response to the foregoing warrant. The meeting mi11 called to order by the Town Ciech, Miner H. Carbon who read the warrant calling the meeting, at twelve o clock noor Orrin Nick's. Samuel, N. Adams, Clarence B. Brown and Charles & Tarbell. who were previously appointed tellers and were severally sworn. A ballot was the is taken for a. annual State Election held Tuesday, November 6 th 1917 .
The voters of Brimfield, assembled at the Jarvis Hall in response to the foregoing warrant November. 6th 1917. The meeting was called to order by Orrin Nicks the Presiding officer at ten o'clock CL.M. who read the warrent calling the meeting. The town clerk then delivered to the Presiding officer the specimen ballots and cards of instructions, and a package of ballots said to contain 250 ballots and took his receipt for them. The cards of instructions and specimen ballots were then posted as required by law. Clarence B. Brown, Penuel OL. Parker, J. Walter Brown and Charles S. Tarbell. having previously appointed by the Selectinen as ballot clerks and tellers were eachseverly swim by the town clerk. The seals were broken by the presiding office of the packages of ballots and the ballots delivered to the ballat clerks, and the ballot boy was then openend for inspection and declared to be empty. it was then locked and the key delivered to The Police officer Charles P. Parker, the ballet boy register standing at 000. Ot ten o'clock and 30 minutes a.m. the presiding officer declared the poles open for the reception of ballots. at two o clock and 30. Minutes P. M. the Presiding officer declared The polls closed for voting, and the tellers proceeded to count the ballats delivered to vaters checked which was. sixty four (64) then the ballot boy was opened and the presiding officer preceded to count the ballats cast as taken from the ballat box one by one in appen meeting, and found the whole number cust was 64.
