In response to the foregoing warrant, the colors of Brimfield to the number of 10 assembled at Town Hall. At 7:30, the clerk read the warrant and proceeded to the Election of a moderator. Ballots were prepared and cast with the following result : P. A Parker received of voles and M. G. Tarbell received 2 votes Mr. Parker was declared" Elected and was sworn by the Clerk

The moderator. P. A. Parker, called the meeting to order at 7:30.
Art. 2 was taken up and a motion to appropriate 425. for bridges was lost. See below.
Murder Art 3. The sum of 250.00 was appropriated from Surplus Revenue for the overseers of the Poor.
Under Art . 4 the sum of 30.00 was appropriated from Surplus Revenue for Insurance.
Under Art. 5, the sum of "150.00 was appropriated from Surplus Revenue for the Police Dept.
Under Art. 6, the sum of 125.00 was appropriated from Surplus Revenue for the Assessors.

Commonwealth of Mass. Hampden SS To Either of the Constables of Brindefield greeting In the name of the Commonwealth of Mass. you are hereby required to notify and warm the inhal. Antants of Brumfield qualified to vote in Town affairs to meet at the Town Hall in said Brumfield on Monday the second day of February, 1925 at 10 o'clock in the fore- noon , to action the following articles, vig : -
Article 1. To choose a moderator to preside over said meeting.
Article 2. To give in their votes to the election offi- cers on one ballot for the following Town Officers: Town Clerk, Town Treasurer, Tax Collector, Auditor, Tree War- den, five Constables, all for the term of one year; one Selectman, one School Committee, one Assessor, two Li- brary Trustees, one Cemetery Commissioner, all for the term of three years. And also to give in their votes on the following question, yes or no: Shall the Town vote to grant licenses for the sale of certain non-intoxicating liquors.

Article I was taken up in regard to Schools. on motion of P. A. Parker, it was voted that in voting on school appropriation, the vote be by ballot. After lengthy discussion pro and con, a ballot was taken on question of discontinuing the Agricultural Depostaucht otherwise called the Vocational Sal. 50 votes were cast for and 32 against discontinuau auce .
The question as to when said discontinuance went into effect arose and was discussed at beugtin. On motion of FS. Gifford , it was voted Voc School To appro. $1750.00 for the Vocational School until August 31, 1925.
High School
The vote in regard to balloting on School appro. was here rescinded. Voted to appropriate $ 11,690.00 for High School Voted to appropriate additional sum of $75.00 for Elementary Schools.

On Tuesday, April 14, 1920, the Selectmen sold the Town Farm at public auction to fas. A. G. Hoyt for the sum of "4025 .- not including the wales wood lot of the lot on Five Bridges Road. Good attendance but few bidders.

The State Census taken by the Selectmen showed the number of inhabitants of the Town of Brumfield as of march 31, 1925 to be 840.
