The children of Daniel Lane and his wife, Keziah Hanscom, were Dor- cas ; Abigail, married Fleming Hill ; Betsey ; Nancy, married Nathaniel Cousens; Living H., born in Hiram, Maine, May twelfth, 1808, married Sarah Woodman : Rebecca A., born in Hiram, May first, 1810, married Henry Smith ; Polly H., born in Hiram, October fourth, 1812, married Seth Dyer; and Keziah, married John Sawyer. Mrs. Keziah Lane died March sixth, 1817, aged forty-four years, and was buried in the Spring Cemetery in Hiram. where there is a monument erected to ber memory.

The children of Samuel Lane and his wife, Emma Kimball, were Mar- shall, resides at Stillwater, Maine; Samuel, at Anoka, Minnesota ; Eliza- beth, at St. Anthony, Minnesota; Hill, died at Anoka; Olive, resides at Moosehead Lake, Maine.
The children of Nathan Lane and his first wife, Hannah Merrill, were Alcestis, died young ; Alcestis, died October third, 1870, aged forty-seven ; Juliette ; John, supposed to have been lost at sea; by his second wife, Mrs. Mary, widow of Johnson. Merrill, nee Digeo, he has had Jabez ; George ; Nathan ; Ivory ; and Hannah B.
The children of Thomas Moulton and his wife, Betsey Lane, were John, born October twenty-sixth, 1811, and died June fourth, 1818; Charles, born June fifth, 1813; Ivory, born February twenty-third, 1816, and died in Boston, in 1843 ; John, born October third, 1818; Mary, born April tenth, 1821; Nathan, born April twentieth, 1824; Alcestis, born March eighth 1828, and died in 1861; Eliza, born June twenty-second, 1830; and Han- nah, born November twenty-first, 1832.

In the name of God. amen --- The fifth day of January in the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and eighty two; - I John Hopkinson of Buxton in the county of York, and Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bay in New England, Gentleman, being infirm of Body, but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be to God therefor, calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for, all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and Testament, that is to say: Principally and first of all, I give and recommend my Soul into the hands of God who gave it, and my body I commend to the Earth to be buried in a christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors, nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God, and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this life, I give & dispose & devise the same in the fol- lowing manner and form :
Imprimis - I give unto Sarah my beloved Wife, all the household furniture or goods she brought to me, during her life ; and at her decease to be equally divided between Paul Dexter & Joses Hopkinson ; and the use of one Cow and two Sheep, and the use of a Horse to go to public worship : (the horse to be kept by my Executors hereafter named) during the time she shall remain my widow and after that. the Cow and two Sheep. and all she leaves as aforesaid; to be equally divided between Paul Dexter and Joses Hopkinson and the real Estate as the law provided.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Martha Sessions, one pound lawful money to be paid in lumber at pleasant point landing so called by my Executor, in ten years after my decease. Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Flood, one Pound lawful money, to be paid by my Executor, in lumber, at pleasant point landing so called. in ten years after my decease.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Palmer, five Shillings, to be paid by my son Caleb, in ten years after my decease
Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Bethiah Merrill, the sum of twenty shillings to be paid in lumber at pleasant point landing so called, by my son Caleb in ten years after my decease. Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Susanna Bradbury one Pound lawful money, to be paid in lumber at pleasant point landing so called, by my son Joses, in ten years after my decease.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane Palmer, One Pound lawful money, to be paid in lumber at pleasant point landing so called, by my son Joses, in ten years after my decease.
Item. I give and beqneath unto my son Caleb and his heirs and assigns, forever, twenty acres of Land in Buxton in the county of York and commonwealth of Massachusetts bay viz. the third lot on the range of letter A, in the first division, besides the twenty acres, I have given him a deed of heretofore.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my son Joses, and his heirs and assigns forever, forty acres of Land in said Buxton, being the seventh and eighth home lots in the first division of Lands in said Buxton, on the letter B, together with the buildings & appurtenances thereunto be- longing

By a Request from a Part of ye Proprietors of Narragan- sett TownShip Nº 1 to me ye Subscriber Directed these are to Notify Sd Proprietors to meet at ye meeting in Sª Town- Ship on Wednesday the Twenty Second Instant at Ten O Clock in ye forenoon then and there to act on ye following articles Viz -
ordain the sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, my Silver hilted Sword, and one third part of my wearing apparel and one third part of my farming utensils ; and also I give and bequeath unto my said son John and his heirs and assigns forever twenty acres of Land in said Buxton, be- ing the fifth home lot on the range of letter A, and also the sixth lot on said range, as by Deed given him.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my son Joses, liberty to cut three cord of fire wood yearly on the two lots, I gave to my sons John & Caleb
and I do hereby renounce and revoke all other or former Will or Wills, and acknowledge the above to be valid, provided that son John, Caleb and Joses shall discount all the debts I may owe at my decease, each one paying an equal sum according to the value of what I give them as above; - and vouch and declare this to be my last will and testament.

Voted the Committee for the Exchanging of Roads in the Township of Narragansett Nº 1 ailias Take a View of the Lands a Crost Michael Woodsums Home Lots at the North- east End of sª Lots and See if they can have a good Road there also See if sa Woodsum will accept of the Road Between the 4th and 5th Home Lots on the Letter C in Exchange for Lands a Crost his sd Woodsum Lots aforesd and Report there- on at the next meeting for the Proprietors acceptance --
