OFFER FOR SALE OR LEASE
50,000 ACRES OF LAND,
Situated on and near the Macon & Brunswick Railroad and the Oconce and Ocmulgee rivers, in the counties of Dodge, Laurens, Montgomery, Pulaski and Telfair, in lots to suit purchasers, upon which are some of the most desirable locations for
SAW MILLS AND TURPENTINE FARMS
in the United States, and so pronounced by experienced Saw Mill and Turpentine men. To those who anticipate engaging in
SHEEP HUSBANDRY,
this section offers superior advantages-the range being inexhaustible, affording ABUNDANT NATURAL PASTURAGE for sheep and cattle during the entire year .
For farmers, it will compare favorably with any section of the South, as most of the lands lie high and rolling, having a natural drainage, and are therefore free from malarial or miasmatic influences.
The soil is a light sandy loam, having a good clay sub-soil. The water is cool and limpid, being entirely free from lime or other impurities. And the
CLIMATE IS MOST DELIGHTFUL.
Fruits and vegetables of almost every variety do exceedingly well in this section, and can be grown and kept almost the year round, thereby rendering it very desirable for
Market Gardening and Truck Farms.
