Article 7. To raise and appropriate money for the repairs of highways and determine the manner of expending the same.
Voted, that the sum of $3,500 be raised and appropriated for the repairs of highways, including paving and sidewalks, and in addition thereto, the street railway tax and excise tax for the current year, the same to be expended under the di- rection of the Selectmen.
Article 8. To see what sum of money the town will raise and appropriate for lighting the streets by electricity.
Voted, that the sum of $3,435 be raised and appropriated for said purpose.
Article 9. To see if the town will vote to pay the insurance on the town treasurer's bond for the year 1908-1909, and raise and appropriate money therefor.
Voted, that the town pay for the expense of insurance on the Town Treasurer's bond for the year 1908-1909, and that the sum of $120 be raised and appropriated therefor.

Article 11. To see what compensation the town will allow for the collection of taxes.
Voted, that three-fourths of one per cent. be allowed for the collection of taxes.
Article 12. To see what action the town will take in rela- tion to medical attendance on the poor, and raise and appropri- ate money therefor.
Voted, that the sum of $300 be raised and appropriated for said purpose, said sum to be apportioned equally among the several physicians, and to be in full for the attendance upon all persons under the care of the Selectmen and Overseers of the Poor, whose settlement and residence is in the town of Randolph, for one year from January 1, 1908. That is to say, each physician resident in the town on the first of March, 1908, shall receive the sum of $50 for his services, provided he makes thirty-four visits during the year; after that he shall receive no compensation for his services, but shall attend such of this town's poor within its limits as may call upon him for his services; those physicians who make less than thirty-four visits shall receive pay at the rate of one dollar and fifty cents for each of said visits.
Article 13. To see if the town will instruct the Select- men to appoint special officers to enforce the laws, and raise and appropriate money for the payment of such officers.
Voted, that the town instruct the Selectmen to appoint special officers, or direct officers elected by the town, to en- force all the laws of the Commonwealth, and that the sum of $1,200 be raised and appropriated for said purpose; and that the Selectmen be instructed to use all the power the law gives them to suppress the illegal sale of intoxicating liquors.

Article 23. To see if the town will vote to instruct the water commissioners to extend the water main on Allen street from the present terminus to a point at the residence of W. T. Pelissin, and make provisions for the payment of the same as petitioned for by George F. Sawyer and others.
Voted, that the subject matter under this Article be in- definitely postponed.
Article 24. To see if the town will vote to instruct the water commissioners to extend the water main on Oak street from its present terminus to a point opposite the residence of Weston L. Mann, as petitioned for by William E. Sheldon and others.
Voted, that the subject matter under this Article be in- definitely postponed.
Article 25. To see if the town will authorize the collector of taxes to charge interest at the rate of six per cent. per annum on all taxes remaining unpaid on and after October 10, 1908.

Article 26. To see if the town will authorize the collector of taxes to use the same means which a town treasurer may use when acting as collector.

Article 27. To see what action the town will take in re- lation to the care of the clock in the spire of the Congregational Church, and raise and appropriate money for the same.
Voted, that the sum of $20 be raised and appropriated for the care of the clock in the spire of the Congregational Church.
Article 28. To see what sum of money the town will raise and contribute to the sinking fund as required by law to meet the payments of the Randolph water loan.
Voted, that the sum of $1,500 be raised and contributed to the Sinking Fund to meet the payment of the "Randolph Water Loan" when due.
It is also voted, that the town treasurer be and he hereby is authorized and directed to take from the water receipts for the year 1908, the sum of one thousand dollars, and apply it with the $1,500 raised as above to the payment of the Ran- dolph water loan, making the entire contribution under this Article twenty-five hundred dollars.
Article 29. To see if the town will vote to instruct the Selectmen to dispose of the "Matthew Clark" building in the rear of Stetson hall.
Voted, that the Selectmen be instructed to dispose of the Matthew Clark building in such manner as to them shall seem most conducive to the best interest of the town.

Article 1. To see if the town will vote to accept as a town way the street as laid out by the Selectmen between South Main street and Highland avenue, which laying out, with the boundaries and measurements of the way is filed in the office of the Town Clerk.
