Article 20. To see what action the Town will take relative to repairs on North Street under the direction of the Massachusetts Highway Commission and the Nor- folk County Commissioners, and raise and appropriate money for the same.

Article 24. To see if the Town will make an appro- priation for the decoration of Soldiers' Graves under the direction of Captain Horace Niles Post 110, G. A. R.
Voted: That the sum of $200 be raised and appro- priated for the decoration of Soldiers' Graves under the direction of Captain Horace Niles Post 110, G. A. R.
Article 25. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate money to contribute to the Water Loan sink- ing fund, as required by law, to meet the payment of Randolph water loan when due.
Voted : That the Town appropriate the sum of $1,500, said sum to be contributed to the Water Loan sinking fund by the Water Commissioners from funds now on hand.
Article 26. To see what action the Town will take relative to medical attendance on the poor and raise and appropriate money for the same.
Voted: That the sum of $300 be raised and appro- priated for said purpose, said sum to be apportioned equally to the several physicians of the Town and to be in full for the attendance of all persons under the care of the Selectmen and Overseers of the Poor, whose settle- ment and residence is in the Town of Randolph, for one year from January, 1921. That is to say that each physi- cian in the Town from the first of January, 1921, shall receive $75 for his services, provided that he makes 38 visits throughout the year, after that he shall receive no compensation for his services but shall attend such of the

Town's poor as shall call upon him for his service. Those physicians as who make less than 38 visits shall receive pay at the rate of $2 for each of said visits.
Article 27. To see what action the Town will take relative to repairs on highways and raise and appropriate money for the same.

Article 28. To see if the Town will instruct the Selectmen to appoint a special police officer or officers to enforce the laws and raise and appropriate money for the same.
Voted: That the Selectmen be instructed to appoint a permanent police officer to enforce the laws of the Com- monwealth and that the sum of $1,500 be raised and appropriated for that purpose, also that the sum of $800 be raised and appropriated for special police.
Article 29. To see what action the Town will take relative to the pay of Town laborers.
Voted: That each person employed by the Town shall receive 50 cents an hour for his labor and that the pay for the use of horses employed by the Town shall be 40 cents an hour, except when used on snow plow or road scraper work; then the.pay shall be 50 cents an hour.
Article 30. To see if the Town will authorize the Tax Collector to charge interest at the rate of 6 per cent per annum on all taxes unpaid on and after October 1, 1921.

Article 31. To see if the Town will authorize the Tax Collector to use the same means which a Town Treas- urer may use when acting as Tax Collector.

Article 32. To see if the Town will raise and appro- priate money for the care of the clock in the spire of the First Congregational Church.

Article 36. To see if the Town will vote to convey to Post 169, the American Legion, by warranty deed, the lot of land now owned by the Town and situated next north of the Stetson High School, and that the same be exempt from taxes, said lot of land to be used for the location of a memorial building-no other structure to be erected upon said land-as petitioned for by Thomas W. Desmond Post 169, the American Legion.
Voted: That no action be taken on this Article.
Article 37. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate money to paint the Stetson Hall building interior and exterior, as petitioned for by the Trustees.
Voted: That the sum of $650 be raised and appro- priated for to paint the exterior of the Stetson Hall building.
Article 38. To raise and appropriate money for the suppression of the gypsy and brown-tail moths, as recom- mended by the State Forrester.
Voted: That the sum of $1,213.68 be raised and appropriated and that all credits received by the Treas- urer by the moth department be used for that purpose.
Article 29. To see if the Town will vote to appropri- ate the sum of $1,200 to repair Cottage Street from Main Street to North Street, as petitioned for by .John A. For- rest and others.

Special Town Meeting May 6, 1921
Randolph, May 6, 1921.
Pursuant to a warrant issued by the Selectmen, dated April 26, 1921, duly posted by John P. Hanley, Constable, the voters of Randolph assembled at Stetson Hall this Friday, May 6, 1921. Meeting called to order at 7.55 o'clock P. M. by the Moderator.
The warrant and return were read by the Town Clerk.
Article 1. To see what action the Town will take in

relation to the fireworks explosion which occurred on Mill Street and hear the report of the Committee ap- pointed by the Selectmen at a public meeting held on April 20, 1921.
Under this Article the Committee made a written report, giving estimates on all property damaged by the explosion on Mill Street from North Street to Mr. Pierce's house, which report was read by the Town Clerk.
Voted: To petition for legislation authorizing the Town of Randolph to appropriate money to reimburse and compensato the citizens of caid Town for damages sustained by reason of fireworks explosion on April 15, 1921; that the limit of said appropriation be $10,000.
Voted: That the Selectmen be authorized to act as agents for the Town; that they be requested to appear before the Legislative Committee ; that they be instructed to use all means at their command to further the petition, and that they be directed to proceed forthwith, and that Representative Walter F. Stephens be appointed to act with the Selectmen. Also to present the petition to the General Court.
Article 2. To see what action the Town will take relative to naming the square formed by the junction of Main, Old and Pond Streets, as petitioned for by Elizabeth W. Rankin and others.
Voted: That the square formed by the junction of Main, Old and Pond Streets be named in honor of Ser- geant Hugh Macdonald, and that the Selectmen be in- structed to erect a suitable marker.
Voted: That the meeting be now dissolved.
Meeting dissolved at 9.05 P. M.

Special Town Meeting
Randolph, September 26, 1921.
Pursuant to a warrant issued by the Selectmen, dated September 6, 1921, duly posted by John P .Hanley, Constable, the inhabitants assembled at Stetson Hall this Monday, Septemb 26, 1921. Meeting called to order at 7.4 5P. M. by the Moderator. Warrant and return were read by the Town Clerk, the report of the Appropriation Committee was read by the Moderator and action taken, as follows :
Voted: That Article 5 be taken up.
Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to accept the provisions of Chapter 240 of the Acts of 1920 entitled "An act to permit under public regulation and control certain sports and games on the Lord's Day.
Voted: That the Town accept the provisions of Chapter 240 of the Acts of 1920.
Voted: That Article 3 be now taken up.
Article 3. To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen to sell any and all parcels of real estate taken by the Town on account of unpaid taxes.
Voted: That the Selectmen be so authorized.
The Moderator declared that there was not a legal quorum present to raise and appropriate money, therefore 10 action was taken under Articles 1, 2 and 4 of the war- ant. It was
