TOWN MEETING WARRANT
Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Norfolk, ss. To either of the Constables of the Town of Randolph, in said County, Greeting :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachu- setts you are hereby required to notify and warn the in- habitants of the Town of Randolph qualified to vote in Elections and Town Affairs to assemble at Stetson Hall, in said Town, on Monday the third day of March, 1924 at 5:45 o'clock in the afternoon, then and there to act on the following articles, viz :
Article 1. To choose all such Town Officers as are required by law to be chosen by ballot, namely : A Moderator for one year ; a Town Clerk for one year ; A Town Treasurer for one year; two Selectmen and overseers of Poor for one year; one Member of School Committee for three years ; one Member of School Com- mittee for two years; one Trustee of Stetson School Fund for three years; one Trustee of Stetson School Fund for two years ; a Collector of Taxes for one year ; one Assessor for three years; one Assessor for two years ; one Water Commissioner for three years; three Auditors for one year ; one Tree Warden for one year ; one Highway Surveyor for one year; seven Constables for one year.
Also on the same ballot to vote "Yes" or "No" in answer to the question, "Shall licenses be granted for the sale of certain non-intoxicating beverages in this Town ?

TOWN OF RANDOLPH, MASS.
Article 2. To hear and act on the report of the town officers.
Article 3. To raise and appropriate money to defray the general town expenses for the current year.
Article 4. To raise and appropriate such sums of money as may be necessary for the support of schools, including Stetson High School, and also for the conveyance of pupils.
Article 5. To hear and act on the report of any committee and choose any committee the town may think proper.
Article 6. To see what action the town will take in relation to repairs on the Turner Free Library Build- ing and raise and appropriate money for the same.
Article 7. To see if the town will raise and ap- propriate the sum of $800 for the Randolph Visiting Nurse Association, as petitioned for by Nellie M. Haney and others.
Article 8. To see what sum of money the town will raise and appropriate for lighting the streets by electricity.
Article 9. To see if the town will vote to build permanent sidewalks and raise and appropriate money therefor.
Article 10. To see if the town will vote to pay the insurance on the Town Treasurer's Bond for the year 1924-1925, and raise and appropriate money therefor.

Article 11. To see what compensation the town will allow for the collection of taxes.
Article 12. To see if the town will vote to pay the insurance on the Tax Collector's Bond for the year 1924-1925, and raise and apropriate money therefor.
Article 13. To see what action the town will take in relation to the Fire Department, and raisei and appropriate money therefor.
Article 14. To see if the Town will enlarge the present school building at North Randolph, and raise and appropriate a sum, therefor, as petitioned for by Mr. Robert Cutting and others.
Article 15. To see if the Town will vote to in- stall electric lights at the corner of Grove and North Main Streets, and raise and appropriate money there- for, as petitioned for by Millie E. Randall and others.
Article 16. To see what action the Town will take in relation to repairs and regrading in front of the Turner Free Library and raise and appropriate mo- ney for the same, as petitioned for by W. B. Atherton and others.
Article 17. To see if the Town will vote to re- pair Roel Street and raise and appropriate money therefor, as petitioned for by Eugene L. McAuliffe and others.
Article 18 .. To see if the Town will vote to in- struct the Water Commissioners to extend the water mains along Centre Street from Main Street a distance of nine hundred feet or to the residence of John H.

Marcille, and to raise and appropriate money therefor.
Article 19. To see if the Town will vote to in- struct the Water Commissioners to extend the water mains on Chestnut and High Streets to the residence of August Mizaras, and raise and appropriate money therefor.
Article 20. To see if the Town will raise and propriate the sum of Two Hundred Dollars to fix up Orchard Street from junction of North Main to Oak Street, as petitioned for by James P. Duffy and others.
Article 21. To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning January 1, 1924, and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable within one year, any debt or debts incurred under this vote to be paid from the revenue of said municipal year.
Article 22. To see if the Town will appoint the Selectmen to be agents and attorneys of the town to prosecute, defend and compromise any and all suits in which the town may be in any manner interested as a party or otherwise, except so far as the same re- lates in any manner to the water supply, and to employ counsel if necessary.
Article 23. To see if the Town will authorize and appoint the Water Comissioners to be the agents . and attorneys of the town to prosecute, defend, com- promise and settle any and all suits and proceedings

in which the town may be interested as a party or otherwise so far as the same in any manner relates to the taking and use of the water of Great Pond or in the construction of the Water Works either jointly or separately as authorized under Chapter 217 of the Acts of 1885, and to employ counsel, if necessary.
Article 24. To see if the Town will make an ap- propriation for the decoration of Soldiers' graves, un- der the direction of Capt. Horace Niles Post 110, G. A. R.
Article 25. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate money for the planting of shade trees as petitioned by the Tree Warden and others.
Article 26. To see what action the town will take relative to medical attendance on the poor, and raise and appropriate money for same.
Article 27. To see what action the Town will take relative to repairs on highways, and raise and ap- propriate money for the same.
Article 28. To see if the Town will instruct the Selectmen to appoint a special police officer or officers to enforce the law and raise and appropriate money for same.
Article 29. To see what action the Town will take relative to the pay of town laborers.
Article 30. To see if the Town will authorize the Tax Collector to charge interest at the rate of six per cent. per annum on all taxes remaining unpaid on and after October 1, 1924.

Article 31. To see if the Town will authorize the Tax Collector to use the same means which a Town Treasurer may use when acting as Tax Collector.
Article 32. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate money for the care of the clock in the spire of the First Congregational Church.
Article 33. To see what action the Town will take relative to abatements of taxes and raise and ap- propriate money therefor.
Article 34. To see if the Town will vote to ex- tend the water main on Centre Street northeasterly 650 feet, and raise and appropriate money therefor, as petitioned for by George Lohr and others.
Article 35. To see if the Town will vtoe to ex- tend the water main on Mill Street through to Union Street, as petitioned for by Allan B. Gould and others, and raise and appropriate money therefor.
