ANNUAL TOWN MEETING HELD MARCH 10, 1924.
The election officers were Clarence A. Hall, Sidney E. Richards, Sidney M. Eaton and William R. Delamater.
The polls were opened at 11 o'clock a. m. and the warrant read by the Town Clerk. .
Article 1. Nelson B. Todd was elected Moderator by the Town Clerk being instructed to cast one ballot.
Art. 2. To act upon the reports of the Town Officers as pub- lished.
Voted on motion of Joseph F. Smith to accept the report of Town Officers as published.
Art. 3. To Choose all Town Officers not required to be chosen by ballot.
Voted on motion of Joseph F. Smith that William E. Roundy, Harry B. Nesbitt and Frank Newhall be wood measurers; The Se- lectmen be field drivers and fence viewers and Nelson B. Todd, pound keeper.
Art. 4. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treas- urer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money in anticipa- tion of revenue of the financial year beginning January 1st, 1924 and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable within one year, any debt or debts incurred under this vote to be paid from the revenue of said financial year.

To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $12,494.32, said sum being the portion of the net expense and indebtedness including interest incurred and apportioned by the Essex County Com. upon the inhabitants of the Town of Lynnfield as the share of the Town of the cost of construction of Essex Sanitorium.
Voted on motion of Franklin W. Freeman that there be appropri- ated the sum of $12,494.32 to pay the Town's share of the cost of the Essex County Tuberculosis Hospital in accordance with the pro- visions of Sections 78 to 91 inclusive of Chapter 111 of the General Laws, and Chapter 429 of the acts of 1923, and that to meet said appropriation there be raised in the levy of the current year the sum $2,494.32, and that the Treasurer, with the approval of the Select- men, be and hereby is authorized to borrow a sum of not more than $10,000 and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefor, said bonds or notes to be in the sum of $2,000 each, payable in accordance with the provisions of said Chapter 111 and Chapter 44 of the General Laws, and of said Chapter 429, Acts of 1923, or any of them, so that the whole loan shall be paid in not more than five years from the date of issue of the first bond or note. The Moderator appointed as Tellers on the vote, Albert P. Mansfield, Franklin W. Freeman and John Wylie. The vote was unanimous yes 116.

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING HELD MAY 5, 1924
The meeting was called to order at 8 o'clock, p. m., and the war- rant read by the Town Clerk.
Article 1. The Town Clerk was instructed to cast one vote for Nelson B. Todd for Moderator.
Art. 2. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money not exceeding $5,000 to be used in reconstructing a portion of Summer Street, together with such amounts as may be contributed for that purpose by the Commonwealth and County, or either of them, and authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow any or all of said sum and issue a note or notes therefor to cover the same, or to take any action relating there- to.
Voted on motion of Franklin W. Freeman and duly seconded, that there be appropriated the sum of $5,000 for the purpose of im- proving Summer Street, to be used in conjunction with the amounts to be contributed by the County and Commonwealth, or either of them and that to meet said appropriation there shall be raised in the tax levy of the current year the sum of $2,000, and the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen, be and hereby is authorized to borrow the sum of $3,000 by a note for $2,000 out of 1925 tax levy and $1,000 out of 1926 tax levy, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town there- for, said bonds or notes to be payable in accordance with the pro- visions of Section 19 of Chap. 44 of the General Laws so that the whole loan shall be paid in not more than three years from the date of issue of the first bond or note or at such earlier date as the Treasurer and Selectmen may determine. (The State did not act and this was not assessed.)
Art. 3. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Assessors to use a sum not exceeding $10,000 of the unappropriated funds in the treasury to meet appropriations made at the Annual Town Meet- ing on March 10th, 1924, or take any action relating thereto.
