Charles Gibbons 1781-2 resided on a farm in Rarum Creek In Columbla Co., Pa. at time of the War 1812. He enlisted and served from Nov. 12, 1814 until Nov. 24, 1814 as private in Captain George Heidley's com- pany of Pa. militia and was dis- charged at Danville, marrled Sarah Davis 1806, died at his son Charles Gibbons in Salem townshlp, Luzerne Co., Pa.
Sarah Davis Gibbons, soldier's widow, March 3, 1855 on account of his service In the war of 1812 age of 77 years. She resided then in Ben- ton, Pa. (Columbia Co.) at home of Isaiah Cole. She was allowed boun- ty land after Charles' death.
No one seems able to tell Charles Gibbons 1781-2 father or mother In any of the states or his mother's name. Not any, of the grandchildren could tell me. If he was born in Lit- tle Egg, N. J. and lived in Columbia Co., Pa. on Rarun Creek and was in George Heidly's company of Pa. Nov. 1812.
Sarah Davis Gibbons must have been a daughter of Reuben Davis who settled on Raven's Creek in Benton township, died in 1858. His wife was Catherine Miller. There were 8 children. Reuben Davis may have served In the Revolutionry war, and was suggested she was his daughter.

Thos. Sloan, Sr., aon of Peter and Dorcas Niles, Braintree, Mass. mar- ried 1771-2. Who were parents of her mother Experience Newcombe ? Thos, Sr. born March 4, 1776 mar- ried about 1804, Barsheba Pitcher said to be daughter of Lewis and she named her 4th child Lewis. He was living in Covington, Genesee Co, when he died and was buried at Penfield said to be 10 m. from Roch- ester where he was a farmer.
Peter Sloan born 1750 of Brain- tree came to Lee, Oneida Co., N. Y. where he farmed. He was buried in Lee Cem. Was Rev. soldier. Have proof this farm was a land grant. He was son of David Sloan, born 1698. Where ? Ireland? Boston? I say Stone son of Sarah Dyer but her father's will says Sloan died 1758 Braintree, Mass
Thos., son of Thos. and Barsheba, had 2 children born in Covington, Clark and Bradley. She and her ch. emigrated to Westfield, Medina Co., Ohio in 1840, then to West Windsor, Eaton county, Mich, 1844. She is thought to have been born in Utica, Oneida county, N. Y. about 1785 and died 1857, age 72. Seven children.

Would like the ancestors of Ly- dia Warner who married Asa Thay- er about 1794. She was born about 1774 and thought to be part Dutch. Their first child was born at Blen- heim, Schoharie Co. in 1796. This child was named Nancy and mar- ried Jacob B. Neff at Otego in 1816.
Elizabeth Bennett born 1788. She married John Backus Sept. 25, 1809 and lived after marriage in town of Tompkins, Delaware Co. She had a sister Mary who married a Haulen- beck, a sister who married a . Van. Slack and went west, a brother Christian and a brother Peter. The 1865 census recites that she was born in Schoharie Co. She was thought to be Di.tch.
Adam Angst and Anna Barbara Reis shown by Schenectady church records to have been the parents of Elizabeth burn 1741 and Catrina Angst born' 1741. Elizabeth later married Philipp Shaffer and Catrina Jacob Neef, Junior.

Would like information concerning Noah Wilson, Jr. born Sept. 13, 1742 Torrington, Conn. and his wife Han- nah (Youngs) born July 31, 1744, Torrington, Conn. In the early 1800s they moved to New York and may have settled in Fabius, Onondaga Co. or that vicinity as their cousin had settled there some years before. They had a large family of daughters and one son, Horace.

Date wanted of Nathaniel or Neth- anel Perkins death. He and his broth- er, .Miles, were 'the founders of Veders Burg, now the Town of Am- sterdam, N. Y. He kept a hotel west of Perth Center at that time and had three grandsons in 1812 War. He turned the British army at Sackets Harbor, ran a hotel in Jefferson or Oneida and had a great-great grand- son, Achibald Worden, a veteran of the civil war in Watertown some years ago. .

Lucy was the first name of the woman. She married ' first Erastus Cooley, Jr. and was living in the 7 town of Vestal, Broome Co., N. Y. when two of her children were born. They were George William born June 5, 1824 and Martha A. born March 30, 1825. Another son Roswell Donald but don't know where he was born.
She married a Wilcox. Haven't marriage date. or his first name but in an old letter' she tells of her third marriage to Austin Whipple and says Mr. Wilcox died in Baltimore in 1843 (was he one of the Wilcox family who settled in Cortland Co. ? ) She says she married Austin Whip- ple August 30, 1845 and came to Ulysus, Potter Co., a. taking the youngest Wilcox child Emily Jane with her and she says Emily was born July 21, 1836. She left son John with a family by the name of Bee- be and Lyman wit hthe Fairchilds. A letter dated March 25, 1855 says Emily Jane had married a mon by the name of Austin Backer Booles, was living in Sico, Alleghany Co., N. Y. John was living near Elmira and Wyman was learning the shoemak- er's trade in New Jersey.
In the same letter she asks about Wm. E. Tracy, her brother-in-law in Norwich, Conn. and her first hus- band's brother, William S. Cooley, al- so of Norwich, Conn. I would like to find out what Lucy's maiden name was and where she came from and when she married the first husband Erastus Cooley. I know he came from either Norwich, Conn. or some where in Massachusetts.

Martha A. Cooley, daughter of Lucy married for her second hus- band Gilbert. Whipple, her step broth- er. He died soon after the civil war. Her first husband was Moses Web- ster Emery of Mass. She had 3 Emery children, William, Roswell and Cynthia.
The Whipple children were Ed- ward Newton Whipple and Arthur Adelbert Whipple.

Two of the older children, Daniel born 1758 and Abraham born 1760-1 in Middlesex Co., N. J. 'They enlisted for service in Revoltuionary war in 1776 from Dutchess Co., N. Y. where the family were living at that time (Poughkeepsie.) The two brothers 'married sisters Anne and' Moycay Williamson. Albert Terhune and his family moved to Fleming Co., Ky. about 1808 where he died after 1819.

Married Mary Ann Townsend 1834 to 1836. Who were her people. From where? Married 2nd Charlotte Mos- es about 1844. She was born in Lon- don, Ontario, Canada. Came with her parents and several brothers and sisters to the States when she was about 15 years old.

I have an old family Bible given beth Stockwell; 5 Barbara, married me by Miles Wilbur, youngest son of David Wilbur of early Smyrna, N. Y. Charles Schied and had 4 children, John, Charles, Martin, Annie! . 6 Samuel, brickmaker, killed at Dur- ango, Colo., married Mary Reinhard and had 3 children, Emma, Jesse, El- la. Want ancestors of Michael, Pal- mer and his wife Nancy Koehler, and all other data possible, also data of their children and grandchildren and their spouses. It was the property of his first wife Looma Dunkin or Duncan, the first white person buried in the Palmyra, Wisconsin cemetery. Miles Wilbur and Squire Brisbane broke land for the first wheat planted in Palmyra Township. In his Bible are the fol- lowing entries:

Information recently obtained in- dicates that the father of Thomas Dunkin was Solomon Dunkin or Dun- can and that his wife's name was Levinah.
