WEISER

One of your correspondents has re- ferred to the biography of "Conrad Weiser" by Prof. Wallace and "The Book of Names" by MacWethy as being splendid sources authorities on this great family. They are but these splendid books do not give the complete picture.

" For th Weiser genalogy "The Wels- er Family" by Capt. H. M. M. Rich- ards, published in The Pennsylvania ; NEWTON, JANVIER, WIGFALL

"German Society, volume 32, 1921, ! should be consulted. There are also others like "The Grman Influnce" by Henry E. Jacobs, 1898; "Conrad Weiser" by C. Z. Weiser, 1876; "The German Element" by Prof. A. B. Faust, 1909. And the data and maps in the Documentary History of New York showing the location of the ap- plication for land grants in the Mo- hawk Valley should also be consult- ed. No pre-Revolutionary family struggled harder to make America what it is today than the Weisers, both in New York and Pennsylvania. |hatbu, Indiana July 17, 1871 was son Paul B.
