Daniell Holbrooke vpon notice giuen came to the select men. and being asked whether James Draper his Father in Lawe and himselfe did knowe and acknowledg that the bond they had formerly giuen for the Townes in- indempnitie stood still good. he answered. they both did so where vpon he was tolde that the Towne did not allowe of his setling in Towne. but either he must depart the Towne in the first optunitie. or pcure better securitie. least he should vndoe his Father and himselfe and bring charge to the Towne

A complaynt being made to the select men. as if the grante lately made to John Guilde vpon the wigwam playne was jnjurious and grieuous to some neighbours there. where vpon the select men apointed this prsent afternoone to heare those complaynts who. being at prsent apeered that is so many as thought meet. and Peter Woodward Senior vndertakeing for the said John Guilde in his absence. that the said John shall be concluded by what in the case abouesaid shall be agreed to by the said Peeter

Running towards the Pattent Line. so farre as we Judg neere to that Line, if it falle shorte of that lyne. then to runne on vpon the same line as formerly the last Station ending at a marked Redd oake. about a mile beyonde a heape of stones lyeing by the way leadeing from the village called Wollomonuppoage to Seacuncke. the tree being marked on three sides with the letter D. on two sides. and the first letter of each Townes mans name fixed thereon. except. East side thereof. adjoyneing to the brooke that runnes at the south end of Henry Wights home Lott to be layed out to him by measure and to account the same each acre for one acre and one halfe in his Natick deuident and so pportionably for what may be layed out at the discretion of Lieft Fisher Joh. · Gaye. and Henery Wight

Allso that the Towne be made acquainted with the disbursmts of the Worpfull Capt Pinchion in purchasing the Indians Right at Pocompticke. at the request of the select men in the behalfe of the Towne who haue declared that he haue allready layed out about 406 and is yet in psecution of com- pleating that worke and by word and writeing haue exp'ssed his desire to be reimbursed. the payemt he desire is money. wheat and porke. and we would desire the Towne to remember and gratifie his paynes


[140] It is ordered that publike notice be giuen the next Lecture day after Lecture. that all psons that shall this yeare depend vpon grasse for haye at Wollomonuppoag shall meet wth the select men together about Tenn of the Clocke in the forenoone the 2 day next. that an equall distribution of grasse there may be made according as then shall apeere most reasoneable. at the ordinary at Dedham


It is further agreed that whereas another letter is sent by the select men of Roxbery calling for the payemt formerly demanded in reference to thier charge expended about thier great gunne at the last generall Trayneing. that order be giuen to James Thorpe late Constable to paye the summe agreed vpon. 11-1-66-7. to Deac.
