Granted to Richard Ellice and his heyers for euer in full satisfaction for that Lande taken in his house Lott for the highway to the new Mille and for makeing and hanging 2 sufficient gates therein in due places, one pcell of vpland and swampie meadowe vpon the northeast side of the mille Creeke being by estemation about one Acre. and one halfe, more. or lesse. as it is layed out and marked. abutting vpon the wast Lande northeast. southeast and northwest and vpon the mille Creeke afore saide towards the southwest. reserueing liberty foreuer of free egresse. regresse and vse in that pt of this pcell next the said Creeke vpon all occasions what so euer shall be needfull for cleereing. or enlargeing the same by the ppriators of either of the milles. thier successors or assignes. or any other by order from the Towne from time to time

Whereas an order past the last Generall meeteing of the Town. 1-11: 68. that the select men that day to be chosen should pmote the buildeing of a house in the Church Lott. as in that order may apeere and yet hetherto nothing is effected therein. this may acquaint the Inhabitants that by reason of the difficultie of the season this last summer in refference to puideing stouer. mens buisienes is much yet vnaccomplished. and the hopes of so sudden occasion of vse of that house is remoued: and great charges haue lyen vpon the Towne it haue beene conceaued safe to leaue it to this Generall Towne meeteing to be ordered as shall be judged conueanient

In psuance of the order made the last Gener11 Towne meeting for the more certayne Recording of Towne Grants of Lands. it is heereby ordered and declared that euery Inhabitant in this Towne. that haue Lands allready Granted to them. and that are not yet entered in our booke of Towne Records. shall some time before the first daye of the third month next. bring. or cause to be brought to the Recorder a true certificat of each such Grante according to the direction of the afore said order: vpon penaltie of forfietur for each Grante so neglected. 28. to be leuied by the Constable. one third pt to be payed to the select men: or thier order for the Townes vse. and one other third pt to the Recorder and the other third pt to the Constable that leuie the same for his paynes
