Vpon notice from Phillip sagamore that he is now at Wollomonuppoage. and offers a treaty about a sale of his Rights in the Lands therebout within our Town Bounds. not yet purchased in consideration thereof Tymo: Dwight Antho: Fisher Jun". Granted to Nath Coleburne in full satisfaction for his Journey and charge in the Townes seruice to Pawcumptucke 4 acres of vpland to be layed out adjoyneing to Dorchester Line on the East side of the mill creeke pvided that he or his heyers build a dwelling house there vpon within 30 yeares after this Grante. to be layed out at the discretion of Lieft Fisher. and Tymo: Dwight the Comittee haue liberty to laye out pt of the ponde that lye on both sides of Dorchester Line into this grante of 4 Acres
Vpon the motion and request of seuerall ppriators at wollomonuppoag that a day might be apointed by the select men for all the ppriators ther to meete to consult aduise and resolue of what they shall judge meet for the furthering of a plantation there. to which end the 3 of the 10th mo. next. being the 6 day of the next weeke is apointed a meeteing. by 9 of the Clocke in the forenoone. at the house of Lieft Fisher at Dedham.

Vpon complaynt made by some Inhabitants that the most conueanient way to the new mille was not yet layed out and there vpon the select men haueing layed out a waye thereto according to Lawe. but complaynt being now made that Nathaneell Whiteing had made a watercourse thorough that way greatly to the interruption and anoyance thereof. whereof pfe being fully. made brother Woodward and bro Avery wer deputed and desired priuately to treat with Nathaneell Whiteing and to endeauour to make a friendly and peaceable end if they could. which if they could not attayne they should certifie it to the select men. who enforming that they had endeauoured accord- ingly. but could not pruayle. where vpon the select men this day meeteing. and Nathanell Whiteing. and Ezra Morse vpon notice giuen them apeereing. vpon searious consideration of that case referring to the Lawe and the occa- sions of the Towne for that way. and vpon pusuall of the sollem couenant and agreemt formerly made and signed by them both. Nath: Whiteing did consent to repayer the said waye againe. but the season being a snowe and som froast. and his sonns being to goe from home the next morning it seemed difficult at prsent for him to effect it in due time. where vpon Ezra Morse offered that if Nath: Whiteing cleere the stoppe of the water course in the mille Creeke aboue the bridge. he would repayer the way againe fully. which Nath: White- ing accepted and pmised to doe it accordingly where vpon both agreed. and Nath. Whiteing declared himself desireous to liue in loue and peace with Ezra. and pmised to make no more contention or interruption about the occasions of the mille so both depted agreed and reconciled. as by thier words apeered, Ezra Morse being vrged to attend his couent with all strictnes. and pmiseing fully he would carefully so doe

Ezra Morse is ordered to cutt and cleere away the shruffe in the way lately layed out by the swampe in Thomas Herrings Lott and mende that way and make the passage safe. and sufficient to the mille. in sattisfaction for defect of worke in the high wayes this yeare last past
