Miss Tolerton Is Married® In Joplin


A pretty church wedding wus sol- emnized last night at 9 o'clock when Miss Alice Tolerton became the bride of Mr. Louis O. Mckinney of Okla- homa City, Okla. The double ring ceremony was read by the Reverend Cliff Titus in the First Community church of Joplin, {c., in the presence of a few relatives and friends.


The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Letitia P. Tolerton of Forsyth, Mo .. and Mr. J. A. Tolerton of this city and is a well known and popular member of Springfield social circles. She wore a dress of fuchila chiffon and carried a bridal bouquet of roses and baby breath. Little Jerry Lee Wiso, niece of the bride, and little Bu- tanDe Thorne were flower girls and


! carried small art baskets of orchid and yellow asters which they scattered before the bride. They wore yellow chiffon frocks with large bows oc orchid tulle tide around their heads. The bridal party approached the altar to the strains of the wedding march from Lohengrin.


Following the ceremony the wed- ding supper was served at the Green Lantern tea room where the same orchid and yellow color scheme was Observed. The center of the table held a large bowl of yellow and orchid crysanthemums with tall yellow tapers completing the color effect. Bridal place cards marked the places of the guests.


Guests from Springfield present at the wedding and supper were Miss Adeline Tolerton, Miss Ann Wernet ! and Mr. Comer Shomaker. -


Mre. Mckinney is a graduate of Oaksmere school at Mamaroneck, N. Y., and also attended school at Ward- Belmont college in Nashville, Tenn .. where she was a member of the Tri K sorority, and Saint Teresa college in Kansas City, Mo. Bhe is a member of the Tau Phi Ganuna sorority of this city. Mr. Mckinney attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a meinber of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon . fraternity. Mr. and Mrs. Mckinney will make their home in Oklahoma City.

Youth Who Fired "Unloaded Shotgun' Bound Over to Circuit Court


Lester Fustler, 17-year-old Galena farm boy, was bound over to the Stone county circuit court on a charge of slaying his 8-year-old cousin, Charley Helton, after his preliminary hearing Wednesday morning before Thomas Davis, Galena justice of the peace. Bond Fixed st $2000


Judge Davis fixed bond at 49000. Bustier was unable to furnish the amount and was jetained at the Stone county jail in Galona pending trial at the January term of the circuit court. Bars Slaying Accidental


Eustler declared the slaying of his young cousin, who was spending the night at & relative's home, was acci- dental. Warren Mooneyham Expires After Long Career in Greene County Courts


Warren Mooneyham, 76, long time pioneer Ozarks attorney and bust- ness man, expired shortly after 6 o'clock last night at his home in Re- public following a brief Illness. Ho had been a resident of Greene county for more than 60 years and bad prac- ticed for a half-century.


Mr. Mooneyham was well known in Springfield legal circles and had ap- peared in courts here. Seven Children Survive


He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frank Marckmin. and Mrs. Ella Lunaford, both of Webb City. and Miss Lela Mooneyham, of Republic: and four sona. Arthur, Almas and Alva, all of Springfield, and Enoch, of Battlefield. He also. is survived by a slater, Mrs. Vella Campbell, of Battlefield.

A veteran employe of the Frisco railroad in Springfield. John W. Mc- Quinn of 808 Cherry street, died at 11 o'clock this morning in a hospital bere after a long illness. Mr. Mc- Quinn had been employed ma a switchman at the north alde terminnis of the Frisco here for 21 years. Ho was il jeun old. Besides his wife. Lane, he is survived by six alsters and one brother. Funeral arrange- ments are incomplete but the body probably will be shipped to Wymore. Nebraska, Sunday night by the Her- man Lohmeyer Funeral home.

Jesse Vewley. 92. long time resident of the Ozarks and a retired farmer of Polk county, died this morning in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nancy E. Franklin, of Willard, following a very brief Illness. Mr. Vewley was born In Glasgow. Ky .. April 15, 1837, and came to Polk county at the age of 20. He became one of the region's mont prominent farmers, and lived in Polk county until a few years ago, when he Came to Willard. He Is survived by two sons, John, of Bolivar, Mo., and Thomas of Lewisburg. Mo., and four daughters. Mrs. Mary Wagoner. " Hennessy, Okla .; Mrs. W. A. Jackson of Langton.
