Jacob Kinsey Dies At Age of 95 Here, Had I.O.O.F. Mark
Jacob Philips Kinsey, 95 years old. died at the home of his son, Clayton P. Kinsey, 525 East Delmar street, head of the music department of State Teachers college. at 1:45 o'clock. this morning.
Mr. Kinsey was thought to have been A member of the Odd Fellows lodge longer than any other living mau and had received several hours ors from lodges. He was born to Mechanicsburg. Pa .. and joined the Odd Fellow lodge there when he war 21 years of age, making a total memv berabip of 74 years. At an Odd Fel: lows celebration here about two years ago Mr. Kinsey was presented beautiful diamond set emblem from the Pennsylvania lodge in recognition of his long years of membership. The Springfield Odd Fellows also gaye him a medal.
Mr. Kinsey has made his home lo Springfield since the death of his wie four years ago. Prior to that time he had lived for several years at Dripping Springs, Ark. He hed been in falling health for several weeks.
