It is composed of the leading and most progressive men of the city and it has for its object the building .up and fostering of the existing business enterprises of the city and to induce new firms and companies to locate in Blue Rapids and thus further increase and diversify the business interests of the city as well as to promote the general welfare in every possible way, whether it be-material, intellectual or moral. Whatever will develop Blue Rapids and assist in the growth of its trade and industries is the concern of the Blue Rapids Business Men's .Club. Its membership comprises men who know what the city wants and who. when they unite their efforts as in this organization are able to make something substantial happen. An or- ganization is made by its members, and it is the most encouraging sign for the future of Blue Rapids that its best interests are being looked after in so thorough and systematic a man- ner. Blue Rapids is noted for its beauty and attractiveness. More homes are owned by the occupants than in any other city of its size, and these homes of elegance, and also those of less pretensions built upon broad and shaded streets have an air of comfort about them not found in many other cities. Well kept lawns, beautiful shrubbery and flowering plants abound. Blue Rapids extends a welcome to the manufacturer, the business man and the home-seeker to come and share some of the good things it has to offer for their mutual advantage. All good people are wei- comed here. Blue Rapids wants labor, it wants capital, but above all it wants Brains and Heart. All communi- cations addressed to the Secretary of the Blue Rapids Business Men's Club will be promptly answered. Tel., W. U. Exp., Pacific. John McPherson, post- master.
