Between John Edwards of the Town of East Hampton in the County of Suffolk upon the Island of Nassaw in America, in the Colony of New York, Cordwainer, of the one party, and Jacob Schellinx of the same place, Yeoman, of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said John Edwards for and in con- sideration of the sum of Fifty pounds and five to him in hand paid, hath granted and sold unto the said Jacob Schellinx and to his heirs forever, one sixth part of a whole share through- out Mantak, as also three acres of salt meadow lying at Acco- bauk in the Great Meadow, being one half of that lot which did formerly belong unto John Edwards deceased, bounded Eastward with the meadow of Mr. John Mulford, and West- ward with the meadow of Jeremy Miller, To have and to hold the same forever, and doth warrant to defend.

Between Joshua Garlick of Easthampton in the County of Suffolk upon the Island of Nassaw in the Colony of New York in America, Weaver, of the one part, and Lewis Conkling, of the same place, Weaver, of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said Joshua Garlick, for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty pounds to him in hand paid, hath sold unto the said Luis Conkling and to his heirs forever Ten acres of land in this Town butting upon the highway that leads to Amegan- set to the Northward, and bounded with the land of John Stretton to the Westward, a field highway to the Southward, and the land of the said Joshua Garlick to the Eastward, To have and to hold the same forever, and doth warrant to defend.

day abovesaid ordered by a major vote that a division of land be laid out in our Town common to consist half an acre to one whole acre allotment, so that a 20 acre right in said com- mon have 10 acre in said division, also that each man concern- ed in said common have liberty to take so much of his right in said division joining to his meadow ground as may serve for the shortening of his fencing the said meadow, and it is to be reasonably computed equivalent to land in said division ; and what part of suid division not taken up as above said, each person so concerned have liberty to choose his part on the common land about this Town, not intrenching on the stated common or suitable highways or waterings, each per- son taking his lot as he shall make his choice to some partic- ular person appointed to list and take an account of the same after the first day of May next,, after the above date and that three men be appointed to compute the value or goodness of said land so taken up joining to persons meadow as above- said, and to measure and stake out each persons part in said division where he shall choose the same as abovesaid. Twice delibrately read in public and passed in the affirmative.

3. John Carle hath chosen his part of said division in a cor- ner of land lying Northward of Mr. John Mulford & Thomas Edwards, their land on the Northwest plain and partly join- ing to Sam'll Parsons Jr. his close there being in the whole 2a 3 Roods.
Robert Parsons hath chosen his part in said division joining to the abovesaid Samuell Parsons his meadow ground and Eastward of the same, and part thereof Westward of the above- said Stephen Hands' meadow ground joining to the creek that is there. 5a OR 18P.

William Mulford & John Miller do jointly choose part of their part in said division on the East side of Great North- west meadow joining up to the lots on that side the North- east end beginning even with the Southwest side of John Morhous his meadow and to stretch Westward till said choice comes to Eliakim Conkling's meadow.

tain attorney, executors, administrators, or assigns, to the which payment well and truly to be made I bind myself, my heirs, executors and administrators firmly by these presents- sealed with my seal, dated the 13th day of April Anno Domini 1710, and in the eighth year of the reign of our sovereign Lady Anne by the grace of God, of Great Britain, France and Ireland, Queen, Defender of the faith, &c. The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bounden John Shaw, his heirs, executors or administrators, they or any of them shall and do for his or their parts in all things well and truly observe, perform, fulfil, accomplish and keep all and singular the covenants, articles, clauses and agreements whatsoever which on his or their parts are or ought to be performed, ful- filled, accomplished and kept, mentioned and comprised in certain articles bearing date even with these presents, made or expressed to be made between the above named John Shaw of the one part and the said Trustees for the time be- ing of the other part, and that in all things according to the contents purposes, the true intent and meaning of said articles without fraud or deceit, then this obligation to be void, and of none effect, otherwise to be and remain in full force, power and authority, any thing contained herein to the contrary not- withstanding, as witness my hand and seal both set to this the day and year above expressed.

Stephen Hand hath chosen his part in the division now in motion at the Western Island of meadow land near Three Mile Harbor's mouth, and the next adjoining on the East side of the creek. This choice made May the 2d 1710, for 5a 3R 20P, his own right in common being 92 acres, and by Benja- min Osborn one acre to take up now.
TO THE SURVEYORS.
Robert Parsons hath chosen for his part in said division now in motion, part or all Eastward of Sam'll Parsons Jr's choice joining to the same, and what wanting there to be laid out Westward of Stephen Hand's choice. This choice made May the 2d 1710 for to take up 5 acres 18 poles according to his own right.
May 2. William Mulford particular chooses part of his part in said divisson part against his own meadow joining to it on that side great Northwest and part against sd More- houses meadow joining to it.
And they the said John Miller & Wm Mulford do jointly choose part of their part in said division at the upper end or head of the meadow of Benjamin Stretton and Isaac Stretton that lies Eastward of the ware-house joining to said meadow.
10. John Evans hath chosen part of his part in said divis- ion on a piece of meadow at or near Napeag Pines near the West part of the Fresh Pond there to the quantity of 3 or 4 acres.

James Diamond hath chosen part of his right in said divis- ion joining to the upper end of his lot of meadow near the Ware-house on the East side of Great Northwest, and part thereof joining to the upper end of that lot of meadow of his that joins to the S. West side of Morehouses meadow, and part thereof joining to that lot of meadow of his that joins to a creek that runs on the N. East side of Eliakim Conklin's meadow & at the upper end of the same, all on the East side of Great Northwest.
Stephen Hedges hath chosen part of his right in said divis- ion joining to the breadth of the upper end of his lot of mead- ow on the East side of the Great N. West to the upland and part thereof joining to the upper end or side of his lot of meadow in the upper range at Accobunck Great Meadow and some joining to his meadow on the West side of Great North- west and part joining to John Strettons meadow in Acco- bunck neck at the upper end.
The abovesaid John Miller hath chosen part of his right in said division joining to the upper end or wood end of Thomas Bakers meadow that lies Eastward of the landing place at Northwest, the same to begin flanking or butting against said Baker's highway in to said meadow and to stretch South- west to the upland that meadow of said Baker's that joins to abovesaid Benj. & Isaac Stretton's meadow.
