Was connected with Curtis & Co., 1886-1904; also associated with Linderman & Binz, doing business under the name of Curtis & Co. Mfg. Co., from 1894- 1904; organized the Mfrs.' LINDGREN, John Richard, banker; born Chi- cago, Feb. 20, 1855; son Charles Magnus and Johanna ( Anderson) Lindgren; ed. high school, Chicago; married Chicago, 1898, Ethel May Roe. Entered business life as vessel and insurance agent; mem. Haugan & Lindgren, bankers, 1879-91, when the business was organized un- der state charter, and he became cashier of the State Bank of Chicago, continuing for several years, and is now vice-pres. Vice-consul at Chi- cago for Sweden. Treas. of the Corporation and trustee Northwestern Univ. Republican. Meth- odist. Residence: 1224 Sheridan Rd., Evanston, Illinois.
