DAMON FAMILY

The Damon families of Chesterfield have as their common ancestor, John Damon of Scituate, but to make the genealogy more interesting to follow, they have been arranged as three separate families. Manuscript records are available in the Worcester Antiquarian Society Library which give detailed in- formation on all the early branches. Some of this information has been used in addition to all the records of this town and some from surrounding towns.
