COLE FAMILIES
It seems quite safe to say that all the Cole families of Chester- field were descended from James Cole of Plymouth. The pub- lished genealogy of the family offers no proof of some of the lines. There has been found no record of the parents of Con- sider Cole (No. 54). In order to make the picture as complete as possible, records of some of the Worthington Cole families have been included.
JOHN COLE FAMILY
The descendants of John3 Cole (James2, James1) are from two of his sons:
*1. Ebenezer4, born 17 Oct. 1711; married Ruth Churchill.
*2. Joseph4, born 4 Feb. 1760; married Mary Stephens.
