1903. Record of Precinct Two (2) town of Burford November third (3rd) nineteen hundred and three.
Pursuant to the foregoing warrant the inhabitants of Precinct two (2) qualified to vote as the law directs assembled at the time and place, and for the purpose thereis expressed.
At ten o clock in the firenoon, the Warrant calling the meeting was read by the Precinct Clerk, who then publicly offered the ballot box, and the same having been personally examined by the election officers and the public, was found to be empty, The ballot box was then immediately locked, the register indi- cating 000 and the key of the box was taken and retained by Timothy P. Cleary the Constable in attendance The Clerk then called upon the inhabitants of said Precinct qualified by law to vote in elections to give in their ballots for the purpose expressed in said Warrant:
The ballot box remained locked while the Polls were ofen. At two o clock and seventeen minutes in the afternoon the Polls were closed.
The ballot box was found to register sixty six(6) The officers in charge of the check lists, in the presence of the other officers and the public counted. in a distinct and audible voice the names checked on said lists and found the number to be sixty six (6)
The ballot box without being removed from the public view, was then opened by the Warden.
The ballots were taken therefrom and publicly counted audibly one by one, and the le leck publicly announced the whole number to be sixty six (66) The precinct officers then proceeded to count the number of votes received by each person with the following result namely.

D. 1903, by a majority of the directions of the issociation for the formation of the maklewood and Danvers Street Railway Company, was filled with this Board on the 31 st day of December, i. D., 1993, in substance praying that a location be granted Raid Railway Company over certain struts and private lande in said Borford, for a double track street railway and authority to construct , and operate a railway by electricity therea. ; and Whereas this Board ordered and directed that a public hearing be had on said petition on the 16th day of January. i.
