1913. Record of Precinct two, Town of Boxford Sept- tember 23 rd. 1913.
Pursuant to the foregoing Warrant, the inhal itants of Precinct two Town of Boxford qualified to- rote in Primaries as the law directs assem- bled at the time and place and for the purpose therein expressed.
At 10. 15 o'clock A. M. the warrant calling the meeting was read by the Precinct Deputy blesk who then publicly opened the ballot box and the same having been examined by the Pre- cinct officers, and the public was found to be empty. The ballot box was immediately locked. the register indicating 000, and the key of the fox was taken and retained by Walter . Chadwick, the constable in attendance" The Deily Clerk Then called when the inhabitants of sand Precinct at 10. 20 o'clock, qualified by law to vote in Primaries to give in their ballots for the purpose expressed in said Warrant.
At 2.15 o'clock in the afternoon the polls were closed, The ballot was found to register (20) Twenty. The officers in charge of the checklists in the presence of the other officers and the public counted in a distinct and audible voice the names checked on said lists and found the number to be (20) Twenty.
The Ballot box without being removed from the public view was then opened by the Warden. The ballots were taken therefrom one by one and audibly counted and the blesk announced the whole number to be (20) Twenty, The Precinct officers then proceeded to count the votes received by each person with the following results :-
